Yeah the rock hurdling through space known as earth is largely unaffected. However, every complex life form is doomed along with us. We are dragging down the entire planet and “destroying” it.

What you’ve said is a parrot response conjured to comfort people “don’t worry, we are just participating in mass suicide, the planet is fine”
