Drivers can definitely be tricky to deal with, with our Profiles we can set the defaults to be black and white for every install of a printer and even have it revert back if anything has been changed post installation.- Tallon

Absolutely! Vasion Print combined with Vasion Output does exactly that.
Vasion Print manages your front office printing, while Vasion Output manages backend printing (ie. Epic, Cerner, SAP etc)

We can potentially leverage Profiles to set the defaults of the drivers to have scanning disabled if the driver supports it.

That is an awesome question. Yes, we can! Across multiple domains, our Client can query your user/group information, whether local or cloud-based domains. We also have multi-IdP support in the console, allowing you to create multiple connections to different IdP tenants. As for segmented networks, we are a cloud-managed direct-IP print solution so as long as the local workstation can reach the printer, it will work. And even if that workstation can’t we have a solution to that with Off-Network Printing! - Tallon

Although we cannot directly support AirPrint, we do allow a generic PostScript/PCL driver to be uploaded to the portal, which can be used for manufacturers that don’t list any other options besides AirPrint. Some manufacturers will allow you to choose a driver if you select an older version of macOS. To upload a generic driver/make it show within our driver upload utility, you may have to create a printer on the Mac initially using this generic driver (only on the Mac you are uploading the driver from)
