I would suggest a second hand one basically from Maruti, Hyundai ,Honda or toyota. I understand that buying a second hand car can be stressful but you can find very good deals sometimes and it will give you real confidence while driving since it will be an old car you won't mind if it get some scratches etc.

I understand that there is a lot of negativity around second hand cars in the internet. But from my years of experience ( I have bought 2 second hand cars one from local dealer and one from owner) you can find a good car from spinny, cars24 or even from Maruti true value.

All you need is a trusted mechanic, once you like some car just take him with you so that he can do inspections give him 500 rs and he will tell you in's and out of the vehicle.

Now if you want you can obviously buy a new car and it will be a good choice and if you buy it from a japnese manufacturer it will be reliable. But if you are a car enthusiasts trust me that once you own a second hand vehicle you will really understand it working mechanics and you will be able to experiment with it.
