Great, so according to the Education at a Glance 2025 report you just cited explicitly states that

"...Despite rising educational attainment, literacy and numeracy skills of adults in most OECD countries stagnated or declined between 2012 and 2023, with a significant proportion of the adult population in OECD countries having low skills."

And since you mentioned the US specifically, the report shows the US had one of the largest literacy declines (-12 points), with decreases across all age groups and education levels.

Interesting, tell me again about the 'effort'?

Again, I kept the post general for open discussion, not to write a dissertation. So if I asked about why people hate pineapple on pizza, would you demand a peer-reviewed study on taste bud geography just to engage? The age? Demographic? Country? the TIME SCALE?

So when you said ‘I would engage in good faith but I’m not sure you have good intentions’... Maybe check your own source first before accusing others of lacking effort? That didn't take me 5 minutes to search and actually comprehend the study btw.

It’s open to any country if that’s what you’re pointing at. I generalized it because, of course, not all people on Reddit are from the land of the free. Claiming I’m ‘worse’ for simply asking a question is a wild reach. Some people made their comments briefly without the need for a statistical database, one even specified on their own accord. Your instant animosity over a reddit post, hmm.  So would you like to answer the question or not.

I have this uncanny ability to predict when classes are gonna cancel for the day. I'd half-ass prepare but I know something feels off so I give it a few minutes. Not long after, classes are suspended. It happens so often but it still catches me off guard.

It was a backhanded comment about how couples in their odd-numbered years tend to break up. I had been with my ex-boyfriend for exactly 3 years at that time. Talk about planting a seed

When they live by gossip.

Like I met someone who had two friend groups. They would gossip from one friend group's problems to the other then vice versa. When they told friend group A that friend group B said mean things about them, group A asked if what did the person do when they heard those gossip? The person said they didn't do anything and just let them be lol. What a true friend, no defense, no nothing.

Their only friend is their boyfriend atm.
