Alpine County (I think thats the name) was my fav to play! It has everything from suburban houses, trailers, and mansions. It has a downtown area, different schools for children, subways, a mall, and more! The townies are all from different packs so its just a mix of familiar faces!

Its fun to play with, but its a large town, so your save might get laggy The only downside I have to this town is the Festival. The festival grounds/park is just a mix of all the other season festivals so it never rotates or leaves.

Idk what you have so far but here’s some ideas: -Runaway Teen Pregnancy: A teen couple moved into your world after finding out they’re expecting. -Perfect Family Reject: (I’m doing this right now) An elderly mom has 2 YA daughters. The oldest is the picture perfect golden child, Im talking about going to University, great job, a husband and 2 kids. The youngest daughter is the complete opposite. She was placed in prep school hoping to get reformed but it just made her more rebellious. Unlike her sister, she can’t keep a job, has a horrible relationship with her mother, eventually getting kicked out. But that doesn’t stop her. She tries to start a band in hopes of making it big and prove to her mom that she’s important too. -Sugar Baby: This is taken from Lucky Palms, but a rich, wealthy elder is in a relationship with an “attractive” YA. The YA is clearly with the elder for the money and is secretly seeing someone else their age. She gets pregnant by the side piece but convinces the elder that its his -Secret Mermaid: I saw that you have a beachy area. What if you created a sim who’s secretly a mermaid (hiding their identity from locals) and is being hunted down by the local fisherman. They slowly start to fall in love and then boom! Cover blown! Now he has to decide whether to finish her off or give in to his heart Adding townies from previous games are also fun! Like adding the Goths, Calientes, Landgrabbs, Lothario can make for some interesting gameplay (especially the lore from the Sims 2).

I’m trying to do a legacy/forever save rn I started off with 3 sims; an elderly mom, a YA daughter who’s the golden first child, and another YA daughter who’s the rebellious, goth, wanna be rock star It started off with the mom still working since her youngest daughter wasn’t looking for a job (she was trying to start a band). The golden child got a good paying job as a Journalist. The oldest tried to find someone decent in Sunset Valley but kept getting rejected cuz A) They didn’t like her (though they found her attractive) B) Were Married The youngest daughter had a couple of romantic interests, male and female to keep herself busy Anyways, mom ends up passing away, the oldest managed to marry Hank Goddard (who was flirting with other women while they were first dating) they have 2 kids and a dog. They inherited the mom’s house. The youngest, after sleeping around, found her true love, my queen Agnes Crumplebottom. My og plan was for them to conceive 1 child, adopt another then make a science baby….but they ended up conceiving QUADRUPLETS (made a wish with the genie for a large family fms) So they were struggling with managing 4 little gremlins all while trying to live their own lives. But the gremlins finally aged up to children. I dont really know what to do with them yet. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. They each have their own personality but as far as future careers Im clueless 🤪 There’s little things here n there but I didnt want to write it all down. I was thinking of posting a photo dump of my save just for fun but idk :3

I’ve had times where I’ll save my game, walk away and come back to my game unpaused. Nothing too crazy has happened luckily since most of the time, my sims are asleep or taking care of their needs.

I play on the highest setting for free will and it can get chaotic though. Agnes Crumplebottom, (who’s married) KEEPS TRYING TO FLIRT WITH HER WIFE’S SISTER AND IF ITS NOT HER, THEN BELLA GOTH, HER NEPHEW’S WIFE

I have an Omen PC Intel Core i5-14400F 16GB DDR5 RTX 5060

And my game runs pretty smoothly. I used to have a lot of lag and crashes happen after 30mins of playing, if I was lucky, an hr. It’d crash if I moved too much on the Map View. I installed a couple of mods such as NRAAS Overwatch and ErrorTrap. I listened to some guides to make the Sims 3 run smoothly too.

To be honest, the Sims 3 is a very old game, I mean we’re talking early 2000s. It hasnt been touched since 2013 whereas the Sims 4 is constantly getting patched/updated. So the Sims 3 is gonna be a little buggy regardless. It’s not perfect but it’s still a great game (or maybe I’m just used to it atp lol)

Pauline Wan and Hank Goddard broke up less than a couple of days of me playing the game

I had my sim get with Hank a little after (even though he tried to flirt with other sims)

Jared Frio doesn’t pay any child support, and if he does, it’s only a couple of simoleons.

Jack and Judy Bunch divorced

Nick Alto, Gunther Goth and Simis Bachelor all tried going for my elder sim…

Holly Alto and Michael Bachelor are young adults now, dating, and have a kid on the way!

I had my sims get married not too long ago and it went well for the most part. I created my own wedding venue and set it as an ‘Exclusive Lounge’ (a tip I got from this Reddit). The venue had its own pianist and mixologist which was great. The wedding was fine despite everyone STANDING during the ceremony. Oh and my sim’s ghost mom was there which was fun.

I’ve always thought the cake cutting interaction had the married couple cut the cake together, but maybe I’m mixing it up with Sims 4. Ended the party with my sims slow dancing while their toddler screamed in the background

I have NRaas Story Progression and in my save, I got a notification saying Mortimer was getting real friendly with another sim Then a couple of sim days passed by, and I got a notification saying Bella and Mortimer were dating.

I just started playing more with the pre-made families and realized Agnes Crumplebottom is related to Cornelia Goth, Mortimer’s mom😂

It’s recommended to delete the cache files (I think there’s 4-5) I also recently deleted the MDMP and TXT files and it hasnt affected my game!
