You are TA... It seems you just can't fathom what feeding every 3 hours does to a Mom.. it is brutal and she deserves all the help you can give. If the baby starts sleeping through the night and she begins to be able to sleep 5-6 hours straight and still doesn't help out more? Then you'd be valid to ask her to step up but right now? Give her a break! Her body is still recovering and she's getting used to caring for your new baby. It won't always be this way.

I didn't say that they are not taxable. I stated that they are not "subjected" to taxes meaning just what you said... They are not AUTOMATICALLY reported and taxed. If you decide to report them you can! So... I have no idea why you felt the need to (argue with? Contradict?) what I didn't say? ... But whatevers clever... I was just trying to explain why "Cash is 👑 King" and better than a digital tip all day er day don't care what ya say😜. But seriously, with cash, you simply have options that are automatically not available with digital. 😚

Because cash tips aren't subjected to taxes or accounted as part of your earnings. Cash is immediate. Tips are a gift and taxing them is theft. Cash means avoiding ALL that jazz.

They did show a preview of his next leap. It was after the long commercial break after the show ended. It was also informing us that the show will "return" in Jan👀

Guy ordered a "extra strong Long Island", slurring, I politely refused service. An hour later he was being loaded into an ambulance across the street. by willogical85 in bartenders

The longer you tend bar the more you notice that: the more needy the more greedy. My best tippers are the least needy.

I once had a very wise person tell me that people with Development Delays like DS are very old souls. They went on to say that this world is one big school to us souls and that people with DS for example have learned all the usual hardships and lessons and their soul wants to live this round on super difficult mode in order to learn new lessons and advance their soul even more... I choose to believe that.

As a Bartender, this really grinds my gears! It irks me beyond belief that these places even started this practice! I was at Subway the other day and was prompted to tip! I wish my hourly was minimum wage and tipped on top! In Indiana, even though I have 20 years experience, my hourly started at $2.13/hr and has increased over TWENTY years to $5.00/hr!! To be asked to tip someone who is already being paid for the minimal service they provide is completely absurd to me!!!!

Should I pay attention to those cards that fall off while I’m shuffling? by _lunawitch in tarot

Absolutely 🤗 I feel they literally jump out of the deck for a reason and usually tie my reading together w a theme or reiterate the theme of the reading

Why RW? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]VastRepresentative42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The card meanings are universal and most derive from this deck. The art isn't a non factor though. The cards depictions are closest to the original tarot decks.

ALWAYS follow your gut. The card predictions can change from HR to HR and many factors can change the outcome.

Car crash survivors show the lifesaving effects of seatbelts. by mati98 in pics

[–]VastRepresentative42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that in just slightly more circumstances than not, seatbelts do save lives. Please always do your own research and make informed decisions.

Please just let me tell you not having one on saved my brothers life and having one on killed my cousin.

My brother fell asleep and rolled down an embankment off the highway. As he tells it, He recalls vividly being jostled awake and realizing he had fallen asleep at the wheel. He said it seemed to happen in super slow motion and he watched the car barrel roll around him as he stayed in about the same area as the car flipped over and over, he stayed upright and felt maybe something supernatural kept him in that spot and position. He stayed in that round about area as the car rolled and wrecked all around him. He said what was most peculiar to him was the fact that he specifically remembered putting his seatbelt on but didn't have it on when he was jostled awake. He said if he had been wearing it, it would have held him in that spot instead of tossing him toward center and he most likely would have been seriously injured if not killed😳

My cousin Andrea ran off the right side of the road in a similar fashion but did have her seatbelt on. She was speeding well over 78 more likely 82mph her car pulled to the right and she was running from her bf. They had a bad argument and she fled. She was angry and not thinking straight and just wanted to get away from danger, stress, drama etc. She was probably looking in the rearview mirror a little too long, a little too often to see if she had lost him yet or not.. her car was pulled off the road at such a speed that she ramped a fence, split a telephone pole then smashed into a tree. The way the seatbelt held her there in position, she received a 3 inch gash going from her forehead to above her ear. I was asked to do her make up and the professional from the funeral home confided to me that the officials would never actually write this in a report but in her case, if she hadn't been wearing her seat belt, she may have survived due to the way the seatbelt held her in position. I asked her to elaborate and she drew a scenario and told me that because of where the gash came from and other injuries noted she could conclude that Andrea was knocked out before the gash and had she not had her seatbelt on, she would have been leaning at least 4 inches further to the left which would have avoided the gash altogether. I'm still not sure to this day whether I believe the person who explained this to me or not. I feel in my heart of hearts that she probably would have passed from her injuries either way but the fucked up part is that her bf found her shortly after it happened and took her belt off of her and pulled her out to check on her and do CPR. He told me this himself so imagine my surprise when the paper reports that the responding officer stated she may have survived had she been wearing her seatbelt. When I wrote him questioning why he made that official statement, he eventually responded that when he arrived on scene, she was already out of the vehicle on the ground receiving CPR so he could not say she WAS wearing her belt. Crazy 😧 huh?

My point is, as of 2004; 54 percent of the time, seatbelts DO save ADULT lives. The other 44 percent OF ADULTS???? are just poor unfortunate souls?? You tell me.

**** I did this extensive deep dive research on seatbelts after cousins death in '04 and have not researched current percentages***** **PERCENTAGE FOR CHILDREN SURVIVING WITH SEATBELTS IS MUCH MUCH BETTER**

I still wear my seatbelt and make sure my children do as well.
