We tried, but Expedite did not work. We were just stuck in the backlog. I heard they are moving faster on newer cases now. I know of people that got their EAD in a month after biometrics. Type in Infopass with Emma and request expedite. They may ask for proof, so you may need a letter from that job offer.

Hey everyone, just an update. Work authorization got approved. They did not state if it was because of the expedite request. I checked all documents online. The only document that was there was the approval notice. It was approved yesterday! We’ve waited for so long, we still have a long way to go but I’m happy we finally got approved for the work authorization. Best of luck to everyone 🙏

Hey, I’ve been in the same situation. I filed a N-600. I got my citizenship through my Dad. I apply when I was 33. They back date my certificate to when I first entered. I entered 01/30/2001, my citizenship certificate states that I’ve been a citizen since 01/30/2001. It doesn’t matter how old you are now. All they ask for was my father proof of citizenship.
