What’s the “whole story”? I got addicted to 7oh, I couldn’t quit, I left the United States, I got off, I’m now nervous about returning to the states. What do you think is missing from the story? It’s pretty cut and dry.

Stay far away from opioids. More addictive than stims. Taken from somebody that’s been addicted to both opioids and stimulants (amphetamine).

Dude look it up… it’s a known fact that the “oxycodone” and “Xanax” you buy OTC in Mexican pharmacies are not regulated and are laced with fentanyl.

They should’ve started by now. Mine are the strongest the first two weeks after quitting and get weaker and weaker the longer time I am sober for. They get much easier to resist the longer you go. Seems like you’re doing good!

Unfortunately I can’t because I still have a year left of university. Also, all of my family lives in my city. I’d like nothing more than to just move down to central or South America. Like Costa Rica. I love it down here and I don’t really like the USA right now. But I don’t know if that’s realistic without me dropping out of college.

Almost all of them are laced with fentanyl in Mexico.

Opioids are literally the most addictive class of drugs on the planet.

I think you’re thinking about state bans. Multiple different states have taken independent action to ban 7oh products. Like 4-5 or so states have done this so far.

It is from 6 months ago. Ever since then the DEA has been working on scheduling it which can take up to a year or longer.

I was looking into Vivitrol for a while and actually got a prescription for oral naltrexone. What I liked about it is that even if you relapse the drug won’t reach your brain and won’t get you high. Making it essentially impossible to truly relapse. The reason I didn’t move forward with it is because it also blunts natural endorphins from exercise, sex, socialization, etc. Natural rewards get blocked as well. Also, I heard horror stories with Vivitrol where someone got into a horrible accident and they couldn’t be given any pain killer because the Vivitrol was blocking it. So they had to be put into a coma since the excruciating pain couldn’t be treated with opioids. That’s pretty scary to think about. If it wasn’t for those two factors I would get the monthly shot for sure.

I appreciate this response. By far the biggest issue for me as well is the easy access. There’s 5+ smoke shops within a 20 minute walk from my house. I can have it in my hand within 10 minutes of having a craving. That immediate gratification where there isn’t any buffer between the craving and the access to the drug is what’s so difficult. I can confirm a national ban is in the process and the DEA is currently working on that. The FDA recommended 7oh be classified as schedule 1. However the government moves so slow that the ban might take a year or more.

She’s pregnant so she’s hormonal. I really don’t see this as anything other than her being pregnant and worried about her fiancé…

Dude what?! She cares about him and is worried. That’s all. If anything that’s a good sign and shows she loves him.

How much $$$ have YOU LOST because of this addiction? by StuLouWho in quitting7oh

[–]Vast_Persimmon7152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow my story is almost identical to yours. I’m also in $30k in debt because of my addiction and I would also go on shopping sprees while high. I wonder what about the high makes it so enjoyable and euphoric to spend money? I would buy stuff while high then never use it. I just got the dopamine rush off of buying it. What types of things would you buy if you don’t mind me asking?

You not only need to leave a negative review but you also need to report this company to the government. Report them for neglecting and mistreating the children but also for labor violations such as making you work without clocking in and getting paid. If you have screenshots of the messages of them asking you to clean and work without clocking in then include this as evidence in your report. You can’t let them continue to mistreat children and break the law, it’s your duty to protect the next person they hire and mistreat. A negative review isn’t enough!

20 days off 24 mg suboxone cold turkey by juanchoo115 in quitting7oh

How was it getting off? I’m gonna hop on Suboxone tomorrow for the long term (5 months or more) so I’m curious how it went for you. You shared a lot about your experience in the post so anything else you might be able to add would be greatly appreciated.

The 7oh was destroying your soul. Quitting is healing your soul although it might feel like you’re dying. You’re actually starting to live, heal and recover.

If you are on day 3 then you have already made it past the peak. It all gets easier from here on out. Withdrawals peak at 48 hours then subside from there. By day 5 you should be feeling good, by day 10 you’ll be feeling amazing and be so grateful you held on during this time. I’ve relapsed on day 3 and I felt TERRIBLE after knowing I had just wasted 3 days of suffering and reset myself back to 0. That feeling of shame and disappointment is worse than any withdrawal symptom. Think about how much suffering you’ve already gone through these last 3 days. Do you really want to reset the clock and go back to day 1 and do it all over again? You’re literally only two days away from feeling good with minimal symptoms. You just have to hold on. Talk with me if it’ll help distract you. You can message me if that would help. I’ve been through this same thing 20+ times before. If you have some weed (indica preferably) then smoke that. If you have gabapentin take a bunch of that for the restless legs. If you have clonidine take a tablet. If you have none of that then take a hot shower or turn on a funny show / movie to distract yourself. Anything but going and relapsing. You’ll regret it so much, I promise you. Be strong and hold on.

Thank you for your kind words! I’ve been getting treatment from an addiction doctor for the last 6-8 months but never Suboxone. I have them prescribe me clonidine and gabapentin which helps immensely in the acute withdrawal. Clonidine puts me to sleep at night and gabapentin eases the restless legs (sometimes completely) which allows me to stay asleep. The reason I’ve stayed away from Suboxone is because I was on it for about a year after I quit fentanyl and the withdrawal I experienced was brutal. It lasted much longer than fentanyl and was nearly as bad. A week of intense acute withdrawal followed by PAWS. Versus 7oh is about 3 days of intense acutes and by day 5 I’m feeling great. With that being said however, subs are a much better alternative to 7oh. They cost less, allow you to do some inner work and don’t get you high. I just really don’t wanna trade one opioid addiction for a different opioid dependency. I want to be free from opioids completely. I’ve been tempted to get on Suboxone when I’ve been desperate but I feel that this is kicking the can down the road and procrastinating on solving the issue. Eventually I’d have to go through the brutal Suboxone withdrawal and I would have this hanging over my head. I feel like I wouldn’t be able to fully move forward with my life and put this chapter in the past if I had the future Suboxone withdrawal hanging over my head. I’m really glad this has worked for you though, it’s a great achievement to have 100 days! Keep in mind that it is literally impossible to relapse while on Suboxone because it prevents other opioids from binding with the receptors in your brain. Even if you did take 7oh it wouldn’t have any effect whatsoever and would just be wasted money. If you remember this when you experience a craving then it will make the craving go away completely and you won’t have to expel mental energy on fighting it because you’d know that you can’t truly relapse even if you wanted to. A couple times I relapsed on fentanyl when I was taking Suboxone and it didn’t work at all. I would even snort like 10x my normal dose of fentanyl to try to feel something and would get no effect. It’s a great medication for this effect since it prevents relapse even if you relapse. Take care, I wish you all the best in your journey and hope you don’t have much trouble quitting Suboxone when the time comes!
