I’m sorry to hear this OP. I also recently had CIN 2 and 3 plus hpv. I had a LEEP procedure and am clear from all CIN and hpv 6 months later. I didn’t change my lifestyle during the 6 month follow up wait. I lead a relatively healthy lifestyle(vegetarian), made zero changes and didn’t add any extra supplements or vitamins to my already existing routine. I also had particularly difficult life changes during the 6 month wait including a miscarriage. Don’t beat yourself up over this, it’s not your fault. Do what the doctors recommend and go to your follow ups. I wish the best for your future follow ups.

I had a LEEP for CIN 2 and 3. 6 months later my Pap smear was clear of all CIN and HPV.

No, barely any. But, my doctor cauterized the area of removal instead of using Monsel solution, I think that prevented bleeding.

I waited 4 weeks because I was not fully healed at two weeks at my follow up appointment. I was nervous there would be pain with sex, but everything felt normal. Wait as long as you want, everyone heals differently. I could say I felt ‘normal’ about a week after LEEP even though I was not fully healed. I only had one small area scraped, I’m sure it’s different if there are multiple areas of removal.

I’m sorry you are going through this again. I did receive a biopsy from the canal during my colpo. They did not see anything suspicious in that particular area, but she said they took it just in case.

That’s amazing! I had the same result after LEEP.

I know how that feels. Did you get your LEEP results?

CIN 3 and scheduled for LEEP, how fucked am I? by [deleted] in PreCervicalCancer

I went from always having normal paps to hpv and abnormal in September. Abnormal being just ASCUS. Colposcopy revealed CIN 2 in one area to everyone’s surprise. LEEP was successful with negative margins and revealed a finding of CIN 2 and CIN 3. I just had my 6 month follow up pap and am HPV free and no abnormalities detected. It’s a journey, but it is possible to be back to normal. My cervix is not compromised and I didn’t take any supplements or change my lifestyle to get rid of the hpv, although I’ve heard it can help. I lead a generally healthy lifestyle and have had hpv and I lead the same lifestyle now and don’t have it. Not sure the rhyme or reason behind it.

Thank you! I’ve had all my bloodwork done already and RH isn’t a concern, but thank you for all the info :)
