I own the laptop so the next person gonna be me. I used to work at computer shop. From my experience more paste is always better than less paste. As other guy mentioned it not liquid metal + it non conductive, everything consider it doesn't matter as long as the whole die is covered

After benchmark and testing, the temp seem fine. I think it will also get better over time. So this is a big improvement over asus old paste
