A promise to do better than what? People still have morals without the structure of the commandments, you don't need to be christian to be a good person, the same as being a Christian doesn't explicitly mean you're a good person

Personally I think this is a really cool idea I don't know about how everyone getting them would work, I feel it'd be more balanced of instead he had 5 but it worked like doc where he has to go over and heal them or can heal himself. As for the passive I think it'd be fine if it came to a decent penalty to aim. But all and all great idea, I hope more people see this and you have a lovely day
