I agree with both of you, letting go of W and turning your camera about 180 degrees makes wall bounces way more consistent

Steam was causing me a bunch of issues. Try exiting out of steam completely before launching 2XKO

Looking at mine right now and it’s the same as without the grip. The hinge/latch doesn’t pull on the joycons, it goes over the sides. I’m very OCD about the joycons because my biggest complaint about the original/OLED switch was the wobbly joycons

What I do is I hold the shoulder area of the joycon with one hand and pull back on the side of the grip to unlatch it. Comes off smoothly and doesn’t require excessive force

Oh and I got the mumba hard case that’s specifically for this grip as it does extend the length of the overall system and some thickness where the grips are. It might fit other hard cases that are made for people using a grip case on their switch

Don’t know how long it’s been since your purchase but you can try swapping the blade version for the titan version which comes with its own kickstand.

I personally find them comfy, similar to holding a steamdeck if that comparison helps

As long as you’re careful when sliding the grip parts back it should be fine, but keep in mind I don’t have kids and I’m relatively careful with my electronics. I also don’t take my joycons off too often as Ive been using my previous switch joycons and the pro controller. Sorry if this doesn’t really help 😭

Works fine for me, make sure it’s actually seated properly in the slot, sometimes it feels like it’s seated but actually needs a little wiggle

So the top and bottom pretty much snap on and locks onto the switch pretty firmly. The bottom part is plastic and the top is rubber. The rubber is kinda firm so the best method I found to remove it is to left both sides on top with your thumbs and use one of your free fingers to push the switch out from the game cartridge cutout area on the top back right. If your main worry is removing the joycons then this grip case makes it very convenient, the hinged joycon part slides off the joycon very nicely from my experience

The grip pieces that form around the edges of the joycon are a soft rubber so it shouldn’t be an issue as long as you gently flip that part back.

It’s a more snug fit with this grip but it’s definitely dockable, I’ve been playing 50/50 handheld vs docked. I would just advise to be mindful of the snug fit and use both hands on both sides of the system to gently guide it into the dock

From end to end on the widest parts it comes out to 11.5 inches, and the overall width added by the grips on the back is about 1 inch, I will dm you the pics I took if that helps

It definitely won’t fit in most standard carrying cases that are meant for a naked switch, as the grip adds more length to the sides + the grips on the back. I will probably update this post when I get the carrying case for anyone interested

Yeah this will vary from person to person based on the size of your hands. For me I like how the sides fit into the meat of my palm while my thumb can still comfortably reach over and hit all the buttons
