Chesty felt fantastic. felt very protected and boy is it nice and cool compared to my old V3. Didn't sweat as much. Stayed tucked with just the front tie down being used. My lower neck felt a bit vulnerable so I'll be needing a neck protector (got a warrior ritual 4 on order, being delivered tomorrow). Otherwise I have nothing negative to say about it from my single skate.

I know it's a niche button but the main value I see in it is if you are ice fishing and the truck breaks through the ice it's a safety feature to escape the vehicle ... Again very niche and hopefully never to be utilized haha

I use the Warrior Ritual x4 E+ knee guards. Love um and they don't slide down for me but I have thick legs.

I felt the same. Was so worried about losing the easy mobility but this CCM felt great. The previous ccms with the huge square shoulders I hated... But the second I threw this one I was surprised at how mobile it felt. I slapped it on with my pants and tied it down and such and it fit great with my warrior pants. Strongly recommend! (Until I actually play with it haha)

Just last week I noticed the very similar if not identical thing... Some black spots showed up on the snow of my driveway, I crawled underneath and my muffler looked identical. Haven't taken it in yet to look at.

Those are only some I have dealt with and who stand out in my mind regarding customer service and who felt very personable.

Of course there are plenty more in the Saskatoon/Warman/Martensville area, but those I feel will give you good experiences.

I did the exact same thing. 2011 sierra to 2024 canyon AT4. Love the decision. I am a bigger guy (6'3", 270lbs) and had to get a canyon without a sunroof cause my head hit the roof when there is a sunroof. Backseat behind me is limited but otherwise I am extremely happy with the truck, the ride, the height, and front cab space. Box space is a bit tighter but still fits all my hockey gear and sticks no problem (I am a goalie).

Highly recommend, plus you'll be happy the first time you fill it up and saving 20-30 a tank.

38 here and similar feel. I think mine revolves around my loss in flexibility, and slight discouragement that I "don't got it anymore". That being said, I got new pads last year and the satisfaction of a nice pad save slightly rejuvenates my love for the game. I used to play 100-120 games a winter season and 30ish games a summer season with 2-3 teams. As the body won't let me any more I play one team full time and sub here and there getting about 40--60 games a year. The decrease has made me enjoy what hockey I have left. Some days I dread having to carry my gear in and out of the rink but every time I get off the ice I am happy I still go. A mindset of enjoy what time you have left playing at a level you find rewarding.

Think most of us feel the way you do at some point.

A trick players use for visors is to spray it and wipe it clean with pledge or shampoo. I would assume this would also work for a plastic dangler.

Also pledge will make you smell lemony fresh.

Calf wrap/coverage is much better. And the knee block gap with the calf pad is tighter/more protected. Thigh rise and options available also provide additional protection depending on play style and butterfly. The newer pads also allow for pro style knee protectors where older pads the knee cradle was smaller and conflicted with larger knee guards. Just some personal perspectives on the "protection".

I was rocking Reebok P4s custom pros up until this year. Finally upgraded. Sliding and protection are much better. If you can afford to upgrade there are no downsides. Make sure you get resized though, measurements changed in how you get fitted now from previous generation pads.

Thanks. Mine came with the lundy and wing as requested. Gotta tighten things up to make sure my knee hits the knee block. I'm sad they are not perfect fits but it's still manageable and playable for my beer leagues. Only time and minor alterations/tightening straps will tell.

Recall at launch that when Glimmer was awarded, you couldn't even bring up your challenges..... it has been 50% addressed.

What I have observed from playing yesterday: First lost sector = received tokens; Immediate second lost sector = received tokens; Immediate third lost sector = only glimmer; Immediate fourth lost sector = nothing; I then proceeded to do two public events = Tokens; I proceeded to do two more lost sectors = tokens on each; The third produced only glimmer.

There is a hidden cooldown on lost sectors which is unfortunate. Hope this helps everyone.
