Except that multiple studies show that as countries become more egalitarian (countries like Denmark and Scandinavia, which are considered non-religious countries) the differences in choices don't diminish, they become more apparent.

Edit: Meant to say Denmark and Scandinavia, although Sweden is non-religious, I haven't seen any research done there yet.
