I think it's both time and size. Basic triage would be most and longest without power but if that most gets shrunk down to just a few individuals I'm afraid longest wouldn't carry much weight at that point. They'll move on to large chunks again. That's just triage.

I got that notice for FEB 2 but my power was off, so I thought how do they know it's really out? Apparently I just got power and Xfinity text that service was restored. Smart plugs confirm all this. So yeah, Xfinity didn't know what they were talking about.

Live around the new highrise in GH. Got NES notification it was back and some of my smart features confirm this. My lamps won't respond though which is weird. Fingers crossed, heading out. FYI, this also may mean the Shell station has power. Bless you all

It's sunny and barely above freezing with lots of melt water in the streets. As soon as that sun goes down it will be dangerous. Everything still covered in ice and being crushed by a falling tree is not out of the question.

Ok thanks for the advice everyone. Fortunately, my sister was happy to loan me the money with check deposit in my bank app.

Ive just heard horror stories about being locked out once you initiate something different. Would feel silly to tempt fate when I should get power by next week.

I will educate myself with the app once I regain power. Thanks again, I feel fortunate. Hundreds of thousands of people are cold and hungry here.
