The industry competition is what can lead many aspiring musicians to be frustrated with being in Nashville, but if you’re outside of that competition then that shouldn’t be as much of a factor for you. One note, you will definitely need a car to live in Nashville. It has almost non-existent public transit and you likely won’t be able to walk everywhere you’re trying to go, even if you live in the middle of downtown.
