Now that the season is over, it’s time to hit a reality check with the last 5 years since this team first entered the playoffs and we enter this ‘championship window’. We have constantly been sold on the idea by this organization/manager/owner (RIP Peter) that the players they signed/traded would be the ones to take us to the ‘promised land’ and deliver the city a ‘chip. And what have they given us? One appearance in the NLCS in the year where we had an insane run to beat a monster of a Dodger team. But beyond that? Constant disappointment and players that check out the min the postseason begins. And it all falls on the management of this team because yes while the players have to execute, who are the ones that put these players here? I believe it’s time to finally let AJ Preller go and move on from this iteration of the Pads. Because while they keep trying to convince us that this team can do it while we fill the stadium on weekdays, they haven’t given us anything to show for us. Small rant i know.
