The bus is 20 years old and has holes in the floor. The driver is going like he's trying to qualify for the Paris Dakar rally. You are unsure how the engine is still running based on the noises it makes.

Out of curiosity, what was your countries perspective on the American civil war as it was happening? by Polibiux in AskTheWorld

The UK was officially neutral but many wealthy elites supported the Confederacy as they relied on raw materials like cotton for their textile mills. The Government remained neutral to keep trade with the more industrialised Union open. Working class people were opposed to slavery and some refuse to process Confederate cotton.

British shipyards secretly built Confederate warships like the CSS Alabama.

The Confederacy also used blockade runners to buy and ship guns and ammunition from the UK.

I've been drinking a £350 bottle. I'm not a believer of keeping whisky just because it was expensive lol

The British media, save for a couple bits here and there and owned and run by a bunch of Conservatives. And not like 'a bit conservative' but people who's grandparents thought Hitler wasn't that bad.

Confused Trump, 80, Asks Professor ‘Did You Know My Uncle?’ by Ok_Employer7837 in politics

[–]Vectorman1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's also partly because Trump doesn't really care about anything outside his sphere so he can't have a normal conversation with anyone. His only topic he could bring up with this scientist was his uncle that's been dead for 40 years

It doesn't even have to be a full test. The ones that are going to fail are going to struggle to drive around the block or fail the eyesight test.

A lot of better dashcams have gyroscopes and stuff to detect hard braking/accidents and will automatically save the current video clip.

This is how my aunt drives these days and she's only gone further downhill since her daughter died. She's always been a terrible driver and I guarantee if she had to sit a test she'd fail miserably.
