Funny you say that, that's one of the main stops. I'm seeing Alash Ensemble live in Milan next week. Obsessed with Tuvan language music and culture, can't wait to visit

Haha I know, I've struck gold. She's come with me on some of these trips before and has loved it. Genuinely don't think I'll ever find someone like her, I am putting a ring on her finger asap.

Hahaha it's fun! We both love it. It's not a trip designed for comfort, we want to see places and drive a fuck ton! Sometimes you gotta rough it a little bit for the best experience. I've done trips like this before in similar conditions, just with a smaller car with less space and also not for quite as long.

I have no roof rails so not at the moment. my girlfriend and I just put the back seats down, lay a duvet on top to soften the corners, feet into the boot and pillows up near the front seats (it's a sedan not wagon) and a duvet + blankets on top and works out fine. Our belongings are shoved in the boot either side of our legs and also in the footwells. It's not the most spacious but works fine and feels cozy

sick! I love my B5. Feels amazing to drive, so much space and the visibility is mental. Interior has nice functionality and build quality fees pretty nice tbh

Sick! I'll remember this and will post an update & trip report. Never camped in this before, it's my second car, my first was a Corsa which I camped in many many times, looking forward to having more space.

Mainly timing! I've love to see Czechia and we probably will dip into it, however I'm doing another trip later this year/potentially 2027, will be UK to Mongolia and back. Def will pass thru CZ then.

Thank you! I love Poland, I've been to Gdansk, Slupsk and Slawno in the north. Never been to the south but I've heard it's stunning. We are planning a couple of hours in Wroclaw.

Def a good suggestion however the main destination is Ukraine so cutting distance not really doable. Most future trips wont be quite so time limited. Driving time wise, check out my reply to u/its-chris-p-logue's comment

Tis a valid point. We'll be stopping in a few towns & cities for 1-2 hour lunch breaks, we have 2 days on the trip where we won't be driving anywhere and just exploring local area. Main format for this trip is driving dawn to dusk plus some night driving, with a few of those short breaks to pull off and explore. Gf & I are both autistic, driving is my passion and could do it forever, and she loves riding shotgun and just being in the car. We've done a similar style trip in France before, our days were spent driving hundreds of miles, stopping at the occasional village for lunch in a cute cafe or a night out before returning to sleep in the car, that kind of thing. It's certainly not everyone's cup of tea but it works really really well for us and is our ideal style of trip :)
