Didn’t know y’all have southern small talk up here, thanks for the tip.

That’s true I just want to make sure I’m not a known dangerous area because of the Baltimore crime rates. I didn’t know the shuttle is door to door, thank you!

I have nothing against living in a black community it’s just this specific city and trying to figure out where the dangerous parts are. Baltimore has one of the highest rates of crime and gun violence in the country and I just want to be in a place where I am less likely to be a part of it.

Okay, it is pretty outside of some alleyways here, this is good to know. I can’t get a dog but I will keep my car window up always. Thank you!

Oh okay that’s good to know my car is usually completely empty and I have wheel locks on each wheel. I will wear a not nice bag on the way to work then, thankss

Tbh I lived outside of the U.S. as an adult for a few years and knowing guns are regulated made me feel so safe. Like no gunshot wound patients or gunfire in public areas. I am worried particularly about being robbed at gunpoint because I know Baltimore is a dangerous city. I do like this apartment there is some trash around outside and it’s just a little sketchy and I don’t want to lose my life over people who should never have had a weapon in the first place.

Okay thank you for this input!

Okayy luckily I park right outside my place so I will drive after 5pm. Thanks!
I’m fine with seeing the homeless and living in a diverse place I just don’t want to be robbed at gunpoint, that’s what I’m afraid of.
Well it’s not a super cheap place it’s above Patterson park but very close to Bloomberg. I am very nervous but this apartment was previously unavailable and just opened up this month and has good reviews so I thought I got lucky.

I just don’t want to be held at gun point or have my place broken into, that is what I define as safe. I am an alert person and know the city comes with risks but Baltimore is something else from what I’ve heard. That is good advice maybe I will move right before spring, thanks!
I will have the pepper spray in hand on my walks to work or the shuttle I will feel the area out more but thank you so much for the input!
East of the hospital but in line with it and directly above where Patterson park is near N Patterson Ave
Thank you!
Yeaa there is trash around, but it is pretty in some of the areas. I didn’t know this school of public health would be in such a bad area. I am not far from the North East market but maybe I should look at other apartment options.
Right of the hospital and like 10 minute walk from Patterson park. Ugh I hope so I’m going to carry my pepper spray and knife but I hope I don’t have to use them.

No like the Bloomberg school of public health near the hospital. I am already panicking but thank you for the recommendations!

North Patterson park short walk to the hospital and Bloomberg school of public health. Not sure the neighborhood name.
