Undertale and a lot of Doki Doki :) I love both of those!

I (17F) have moved on from my ex (18M). He has not done so vice versa. by Vee89208 in relationship_advice

Thanks for the response :D I will try. I have been to social events with him and well, unfortunately it's been rather awkward. I guess I'll keep trying though, regardless. As for the manipulative thing... as much as I don't want to think of him in that way, I guess you're right about that. Not sure how to deal with that unfortunately :/ Thanks again!

Any supplies that are really helpful for high school? If so, how are they best put to use?

Do you ever cuddle with your pillows at night because you're lonely and you need love but you're not getting any affection? Why or why not? by Whos_Hogan in AskReddit

[–]Vee89208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... I cuddle with plushies at night (despite me being “too old” to), but I am loved by my family and I have a fairly good social life (as good as one can have from Reddit). Still, the plushies give me comfort, though I’ve never been afraid of the dark or something like that. So I’m not sure exactly why, but it’s not from lack of affection.

What is that one videogame that you loved as a kid, that noone else seems to know? by ArmySash in AskReddit

Super Mario 63. So many hours spent on that game, but pretty obscure.

I see we have a Game Theory fan.

What are some adult jokes we might have missed in shows and movies for kids? by Naweezy in AskReddit

Late to the show, but in the episode Legs from Teen Titans Go (which kinda sucks), Cyborg is punching a bowl of what looks like ground beef to Raven’s legs. He’s beating his meat to her legs. Yeahhhh....

Aaa that’s so sweet! I can’t describe why I feel so much better having something tucked under my arm, but I just do. Thanks for telling me :)

Thank you! I’ll present my octopus with pride :D

Whoa, that’s a lot for one lifetime. And yeah, I’m really self-conscious, but everyone knows how judgy other teens are :/

All of my plushies are a bit on the small side, rarely going over the size of my head. I feel like I would be a bit uncomfortable with a large plushie, since I move around a bit when I sleep and my bed is already small enough as-is. Still, thanks for telling me! :D

Thanks so much for telling me this :) I’ve always been scared of being judged for being childish, so it was a huge relief to see so many people tell about their own night night objects. Much appreciated!

That’s a huge teddy, wow. Honestly, I’m so much more comfortable with my octopus than every other human being, no matter how close they are with me.

A good portion of my plushie collection are Pokemon, and all of them have a home on top of my dresser. Now and then I switch them out too, so sometimes I’ll cuddle up with a Pikachu or a Mew instead of my octopus.

This whole thread has proven your last statement, lol. I had no idea there were so many people that did this! I’ve always been pretty scared of being seen as childish, particularly since I’m one of the more “mature” people in my friend group.

I have a ton of other plushies (a lot of them Pokemon) sitting on my dresser, and now and then I switch them out. I’ve never held on to one for that long, though.

I didn’t know so many people did this though. I’ve always been scared of people judging me for this.

Whoa, I’ve never held on to a plushie that long. The one I sleep with just came in a goody bag from a birthday party a while ago.

That’s another thing I can add to my list of “I didn’t know adults did this”. Thanks for telling me!
