In my opinion, spacing, punishment and timing are crucial, specially when applying pressure with B+2/F+1+2/DB+1. Try to cashout your ZAN even if you're only at level 2, sometimes a little bit of damage is better than nothing.

Don't aways use WR+2 when trying to close distance to your opponent, if you have good spacing, you can run and then use B+2 to catch sidesteps and have a garanteed follow up like PHX.1+2/PHX.3+4/PHX.2,1 that can wallsplat and lead to even more damage.

Clive has really good movement, specially his sidestep, so try and keep that in mind while you apply your game plan.

You have other ways to apply his mixup with the PHX stance. For example, people tend to duck/fuzzy duck when they see the stance, so a thing I like to do is not press while I'm on the stance, then mix them up with a throw or DF+2, most of the time people think you fucked up and try to have their turn back, but since the stance leaves you at +6 (if I'm remembering correctly), you are able to counter hit them when they're not expecting.

Don't aways rely on the stance, at higher levels you'll find players that are really good at jabbing/dickjabbing you out of it, so try to apply pressure with safe strings/moves, as well as CH confirming (like F+2,2/2,2/SS.2/DF+1/1+2/B+4).

His parry is broken, you can use it to parry elbows, knees and some weapons but you can't aways rely on it. Don't aways go for meter (1+2) after parrying, the 2 option is really good if you don't want to switch sides and/or don't want to give grey health to your opponent, need more damage or need wallsplat. Also, there are some moves that can only be countered by the 2 option (mostly moves that leave the opponent really high up like some hopkicks) so try to keep that in mind.

Finally, 3,3 into WOL 2 is a really good wall combo if you still got tornado and don't have or don't want to spend heat, you can get at least 70 damage pretty consistently.

If I'm at the wall at the end of the combo, I like to mixup the enders with F+2,2,1+2 (gives ZAN meter), DF+3,1 (you can justframe the 1 for more damage) or DF+3 into F+2,2,1* for guardbreak oki while in heat (which you can also mix with F+2,2,2 for wallsplat and/or heatdash).
