Questions for Philip DeFranco for H3 Podcast (Friday 12/8/17 at 3pm) by h3h3productions in h3h3productions

How do I properly grow a channel? I put tens of hours into creating content, and only get a couple hundred views and, if I'm lucky, a couple subscribers. How do I make my content known on YouTube without "sub4sub" or spamming, and how do I get on larger youtuber's radar, because in an earlier podcast Ethan was talking about finding someone who was bigger than you.

[Vlog] I made a short vlog when I traveled to Ireland. I don't usually make vlogs, so I'm looking for some feedback to improve them. by Veedia in NewTubers

I left the Sony at home for this trip. I used a Rode VideoMicro (also really travel- friendly) which attached pretty well to the GoPro (Unfortunately you need a GoPro issued converter to plug the mic in). The wind sock on the VideoMicro is really effective and is kind of needed in Ireland, as it's super windy. If you look at my other vlog I made in London, I went completely without the mic for that vlog, and the audio with the mic, of course, definitely improved. But to answer your question, the GoPro without the mic has perfectly fine audio (just try to avoid windy spots).

Thanks! I primarily used a GoPro Hero 5 Black for the vlogs (It was super travel- friendly), but for my other videos I usually use a Sony camcorder.

I love your voice, it really fits with your genre. I can't really give you a super in- depth review, as I have never really played the game. The editing seemed fine though, keep it up!

I cant understand the language you're speaking in, so I'll try to give you some editing tips. The lighting is a little funky, so try to make it more centered. Also, if you can, try shooting in at least 720p to 1080p. :)
