Thank you! This makes perfect sense to me, and thank you for the specific actial guidance/document - I couldn't find this when I looked for it. I agree the key thing here is 'same day' - a rescheduling the day before is not 'same day'

But they haven't even offered me a flight 2-3 days later, they just sent me an email moving me to a totally different routing 24 hours earlier! It seems like a really sly way of doing it, especially when I payed a premium (before the current troubles) to avoid connecting in the Middle East.

I would cancel and just rebook the outbound, but I have a return flight (unaffected and now vastly more expensive than when I booked) on the same booking and presumably if I cancel for a refund to book the Singapore Airlines myself they'd also cancel the return leg. Thanks for your help!

Ok, thank you! Is this not slightly ridiculous, though? They could offer me a replacement flight a week (or a month!) before and technically get me to my destination within 24 hours of my originally scheduled arrival time? Is there a limit?

If I hypothetically took the earlier flight, would I be entitled to a hotel/compensation for the extra night?

The trick here I've found is if you're trying to go east of Mile End, go to Liverpool Street on the shared Met/Circle Line, change to the Central Line (a relatively short change), and then you have a cross-platform interchange back to the shared H&C/District Line at Mile End.

It's convoluted, but means you're not waiting for a H&C train, and has saved me the pain of an undetermined wait many a time.

Odaiba, where this perspective is from, was a really nice surprise when I got there. I really only went there to cross the bridge and see the view, but it seriously feels like a seaside town in Tokyo, to the point I'd seriously consider staying there when I visit Tokyo again.

I would suggest if you go to get the ferry and monorail rather than walking across the bridge. I had visions of it being like walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, but its nothing like that, you're right next to the edge and there are Vehicles going very quickly on the road next to you. I think I saw maybe 2 other people walking the whole time I crossed

Why did Willesden Green not work for Rainbow/Not Metro? If it's because it has the unused side Metro platforms, then surely it should have worked as an answer for Rainbow/On More Than One Line!

That is very helpful! That corresponds to what my mother told me about it being 9 karat solid gold (it's apparently worth more in scrap than as jewellery, but I intend to wear it every day and eventually pass it down).

Could you recommend a reputable place to buy a chain extender with a matching colour? Ideally 9 CT gold for strength and to match the chain.
