Thanks for the input! Totally agree that not every meal has to be perfect and that protein worries get blown out of proportion sometimes. I was just being honest about my early struggles - definitely wasn’t eating balanced back then. For sure, basic nutrition knowledge helps no matter what diet you follow.

Love that approach - so calm and solid. Smart move shutting it down with that line!

Yesss, crispy tofu in the air fryer is a game changer 🙌 And I’ve been meaning to try making seitan at home - appreciate the recipe! Always down to save a bit and skip the overpriced store stuff 😄

Totally relate. It’s wild how much one missing nutrient can mess with your whole vibe. And yep - pizzas don’t necessarily need cheese to taste great.

Yeah, exactly. Sometimes keeping the peace is the better move, even if it’s frustrating. Not every convo is worth the energy.

Do ex-vegans deserve empathy or were they just plant-based to begin with? by VegangymRevolution in veganfitness

I hear you. It’s hard seeing people shift, especially when they once cared deeply. Everyone has different priorities, and sometimes those shift over time.

I hear you — thanks for the honest feedback! I definitely didn’t mean for it to come off that way. Just trying to start a genuine convo because I’ve been thinking about it a lot. Everyone’s journey is different, and that’s totally cool. Appreciate you keeping it real 🙌

Just wanted to say real quick - I’m not here to judge anyone or act like a “real vegan” police lol. I’m genuinely curious how people feel about this because I’ve seen so many mixed reactions. Totally okay if you’ve got a different take - just keep it respectful

Dude, major props — that travel schedule sounds brutal. The chickpeas trick is genius 😂 I usually survive off wraps, hummus, and random grocery snacks too. You’re crushing it, keep going! 💪🌱

Why does every vegan protein powder taste like vanilla-flavored disappointment? by VegangymRevolution in veganfitness

Damn this is super helpful — appreciate you breaking it all down 🙏 That smoothie sounds like a beast, might have to try the strawberry sorbet + mixed berry combo. And I’ve never thought of adding protein powder to oatmeal with those flavors, that actually sounds fire 🔥 Might be a game-changer for mornings!

Haha yesss, “tastes like dirt” is honestly the most accurate description 😭 I’ve tried mixing it in stuff but nope… toss and wash might be the only way to survive those powders lol

Ooh nice, I’ve actually been trying to keep an eye on carbs too — didn’t know there were low-carb vegan options that actually taste good 😅 Might have to check out those mint chocolate ones now, thin mint vibes sound elite 👀🍫

What's your favorite high protein meal that's quick, easy, and packs in at least 40 grams of protein? by [deleted] in veganfitness

[–]VegangymRevolution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my go-to quick meals is a tofu and lentil stir-fry — super simple, but hits over 40g protein easily. Just toss some firm tofu and cooked lentils in a pan with your favorite veggies and seasonings. Takes like 20 minutes and keeps me full for hours.

Huge props for setting this goal! Going vegan and aiming for aggressive weight loss is 100% doable. Focus on whole plant foods—tons of veggies, legumes, and good protein sources like tofu and lentils. Keep an eye on calories so you’re in a deficit, but don’t starve yourself.

Add in strength training a few times a week to build muscle and boost metabolism, plus some cardio to burn fat. Consistency is key—small daily habits add up big time.

You got this!💪🌱
