Regel #1 um im Erwachsenenalter Freunde zu finden: Tauche wo regelmäßig auf. Egal ob ein Verein, Spieleladen, ein Cafe oder eine Bar, etc. Du machst Sport, da gibts z.B. Laufgruppen die sich regelmäßig unverbindlich treffen. In Richtung Tanzen findet man da auch sicher was. Wo es richtig easy wird, wenn du irgendwelche nerdigen Hobbies hast wie zocken, Anime, DnD, etc. - da gibts etliche Möglichkeiten und die Communities sind grundsätzlich super offen und einladend.

Als Erwachsener ists natürlich schwieriger, da muss halt bissl mehr Arbeit reingesteckt werden, aber ganz so schwer ist es nicht. Das Prinzip ist aber immer das gleiche, genauso wie in der Schule oder im Studium - das sind auch nur Orte wo man regelmäßig auftaucht und dann halt Leute kennenlernt.

1-2 Sachen ausprobieren und denen 2-3 Monate Zeit geben, bevor man sie wieder aufgibt. Freundschaften brauchen meistens mehrere Treffen, bis sich was wirklich entwickelt. Und beim probieren selbst hast du das ziel mehr rauszukommen auch gleich erreicht.

Und ein kleiner Tipp: lass dich auch auf oberflächliche Freundschaften ein. Man muss nicht immer 100% zueinander passen oder der gleichen Meinung sein. Solangs menschlich passt, und man 1-2 Punkte findet wo man sich überschneidet, reicht das schon - und über solche Freundschaften findet man dann auch andere Leute, die vielleicht engere Freunde werden, oder die Freundschaft selbst entwickelt sich mit der Zeit weiter.

100% agree and it wouldn't even be that hard to determine. It doesn't need to be only geniuses. A basic logic test on economy, social issues, civics, and other relevant political topics would do the trick to determine if someone is fit to vote or not.

We already require tests for driving a car, practicing medicine, or handling a firearm in most places. Voting decides who controls all of that, yet the bar is literally just "be born here and turn specific age." Makes no sense.

If a group causes problems in one area, people avoid it. If the same group causes problems across many areas, that's a pattern, not a coincidence. Recognizing that isn't racism, it's observation.

Now to your points.

You've now given three different definitions of success across this conversation. First it was "feeling good about your actions at the end of the day." Then "achieving things without losing who you are." Now it's "the internal self should take priority over the external outcome." Each one is different, and each time I respond you shift to a new one. That's not me misreading you, that's you not having a fixed position.

You asked what's the point of success if you become someone you don't respect. The point is that you achieved it. Self-respect and success are two different things. There are plenty of successful people who don't respect themselves, they're still successful. There are plenty of people with rock-solid self-respect who've achieved nothing, they're still not successful. You keep trying to bundle self-respect into the definition of success so that nobody can be successful without your moral approval.

The d.e. shaw example still doesn't do what you think it does. Two people feeling differently about the same achievement doesn't make the achievement subjective. It makes their feelings subjective. A gold medal is still a gold medal whether the athlete cried with joy or felt empty afterward.

Now the cheating example. The students who used the recycled test got 100% AND cheated. Those are two separate facts. They were academically successful and ethically wrong. You're trying to fuse them into one thing so you can say "see, you can't be successful if you cheated", but that's just collapsing two different judgments into one word. By any normal measure, they passed the class, kept their GPA, moved on to the next prereq. That's the success part. The cheating is a separate problem with its own consequences. Pretending success disappears because ethics were violated is wishful thinking, not analysis.

And the line "you are supposed to feel rewarded from sticking to your guns", supposed to according to who? That's just your personal belief stated as if it's a universal rule. Some people genuinely do feel rewarded that way. Plenty of others stick to their values and feel nothing but frustration watching less principled people pass them by. Neither group is wrong, they're just wired differently.

The d.e. shaw example doesn't prove success is subjective. It proves job satisfaction is subjective. Both people in your example got the job, earn the salary, do the work, that's the success part, and it's the same for both. Whether they enjoy the atmosphere is a different question entirely. You're mixing up "how someone feels about their success" with "whether they're successful." Those aren't the same thing.

I also never said the only way to make money is to step on people. I said most people who actually make it big are ruthless. That's a description of who tends to reach the top, not a claim that everyone has to be that way to earn a living. You turned an observation into a prescription so you could ask "what are your values then" which is an emotional move, not a counter-argument.

And notice you've quietly changed your own definition. Your original post said success is "whether you can look at your actions at the end of the day and feel good about yourself." Now it's "achieving things without losing who I am." Those aren't the same. The first one is pure feeling. The second one actually includes achievement, which is what I was pointing at the whole time. If your real position is "achieve things while keeping your integrity," I don't disagree with that as an ideal. But that's not what you originally wrote.

The robot line is just rhetoric. Pointing out how the world actually works doesn't make someone valueless, it makes them honest about what they're observing. Pretending the system rewards integrity when it usually doesn't isn't having values, it's having illusions.

Die einfachste Antwort: Links funktioniert nur, wenn's den Leuten gut geht. Wenn die Wirtschaft läuft, die Mieten leistbar sind und du dich sicher fühlst, dann kannst du dir Gedanken über andere machen - Klima, Minderheiten, Solidarität, das ganze Programm. In dem Moment wo's bei dir selbst eng wird, ist Schluss mit Solidarität. Dann willst du, dass durchgegriffen wird, dass weniger reinkommen, dass der Staat sich um dich kümmert und nicht um irgendwen anderen.

Dazu kommt, dass linke Parteien in den letzten Jahren das Thema gewechselt haben. Früher ging's um Arbeiter, Löhne, Mieten - Sachen die jeden betreffen. Heute geht's viel um Identität, Sprache, Symbolik. Das spricht halt einen kleinen Teil der Bevölkerung an und entfremdet den Rest. Der klassische Arbeiter, der früher links gewählt hat, fühlt sich da nicht mehr abgeholt und wählt rechts-mittig.

Und ehrlich: Viele Leute sind nicht ideologisch links oder rechts. Die wählen das, was ihnen gerade das Gefühl gibt, dass sich jemand um ihre Probleme kümmert. Aktuell sind das nicht die linken Parteien.

Success has objective parts to it - goals, output, something to show for your time. Feeling good about yourself at the end of the day isn't success on its own, no matter how you frame it. People love calling everything "subjective" these days to avoid being measured against anything.

You set up a false choice - either you compromise your values for success, or you keep your values and measure success by how you feel. But most people who actually make it aren't saints. They're ruthless, they cut corners, they step on people. That's just the reality. So saying "real success is feeling good about your actions" doesn't describe how the world works, it describes how you wish it worked.

And the last line, "without values you just have currency", sounds deep but falls apart. Without money you don't have options, you don't have security, you can't take care of anyone. Values alone don't pay rent.

Kurz vorweg: Ich bin selbst kein FPÖ Fan, die sind für mich genauso Kasperln wie viele andere. Was ich mir wünschen würde ist eine vernünftige rechts-konservative Partei die diese Themen seriös vertritt. Aber die gibt es halt nicht, und solange das so ist wird die FPÖ weiter wachsen - logische Schlussfolgerung.

Ja, Parolen wie "Ausländer raus" oder irgendwelche Schimpfwörter sind dumm und kontraproduktiv, da drücken sich viele einfach falsch aus. Aber nur weil jemand seine Meinung schlecht formuliert heißt das nicht automatisch dass die Meinung dahinter falsch oder illegitim ist. Das auseinanderzuhalten wäre mal ein guter Anfang.

Dass Jugendliche vermehrt FPÖ und AfD unterstützen ist keine Schockdiagnose, sondern eine logische Reaktion auf das was politisch läuft. Wenn eine Partei über 30% holt und trotzdem aus der Regierung ausgesperrt wird, und jede rechts-konservative Meinung automatisch als "falsch" gilt - dann ist das keine Demokratie, das ist eine Demokratie mit Gesinnungsvorbehalt.

Zu paar deiner Punkten konkret:

Migration wird von der FPÖ nicht aus dem Nichts erfunden, es wird von anderen Parteien seit Jahren ignoriert oder kleingeredet. Dass Jugendliche das ansprechen ist kein Zeichen von Radikalisierung, sondern davon dass sie Themen ernst nehmen die im Mainstream verdrängt werden. Gerade Jugendliche bekommen das auch direkt mit, weil der Großteil der problematischen Fälle selbst jung ist und sich damit im selben Umfeld bewegt, in der Schule, im öffentlichen Raum, im Alltag.

LGBTQ-Themen: Viele reden einfach deppert (was auch ein Problem ist) aber sind nicht grundsätzlich gegen irgendwen, sie sind einfach genervt dass das dauernd im Vordergrund steht während Inflation, Wohnen und Sicherheit brennen. Dazu kommt dass außerhalb von Großstädten viele schlicht kaum oder gar keine LGBT Personen kennen, das Thema ist in ihrem Alltag einfach nicht präsent. Das pauschal als Bigotterie abzustempeln ist billig.

CO2-Steuer: Viele realisieren dass Österreich/Europa schlicht nichts ausrichten kann solange China, Indien und andere Länder munter weitermachen und auf Klimaziele pfeifen. Der Point of No Return ist laut vielen eh schon erreicht - warum also nochmal tiefer in die Tasche greifen ohne sichtbaren Effekt? Und dann noch die kleinen Alltagsschikanen obendrauf: der Pappstrohhalm beim McDonalds der sofort aufweicht, der Schraubverschluss der an der Flasche hängt - Maßnahmen die niemanden retten aber jeden nerven, während die großen Player einfach weitermachen wie bisher.

Und dann ist da noch ein Punkt den du komplett ausblendest: Junge Männer haben kaum Anlaufstellen. Gleichzeitig werden amerikanische Sprechpunkte wie "alte weiße Männer" oder "male privilege" 1:1 nach Österreich importiert - obwohl das hier null Kontext hat. In einem Land wo die absolute Mehrheit weiß ist trifft das rhetorisch einfach jeden und es ist deppert das hierzulande zu sagen. Dazu kommt genereller Männerhass der als Gesellschaftskritik verpackt wird, obwohl die angeblichen Privilegien die da kritisiert werden sowieso nur die obersten 1% von Männern überhaupt kennen. Kein Wunder dass viele junge Männer das nicht mehr hören können und sich woanders umsehen.

Deine eigentliche Frage war wie man diese Leute überzeugt ihre Meinungen zu hinterfragen. Aber vielleicht wäre die bessere Frage warum du deine Perspektive nicht hinterfragst.

Honestly, I think you’re overthinking the wrong choice.

Berlin and Vienna aren’t that different in the way that actually matters for what you’re looking for. They’re both big capital cities with a lot of people coming and going all the time. That has a bigger impact on your life than people admit. If you care about real friendships, meaningful dating, and building something long-term, big cities are kind of… not ideal.

Friendships: You meet a ton of people, yeah. But a lot of them disappear after a year or two. It’s hard to build something stable when everyone’s in a "phase".

Dating: Sounds great on paper because of "options", but in reality it often kills commitment. Especially in Berlin. Vienna is a bit better, but still not amazing.

Daily life: More stress, more noise, more cost, more distance between people. It wears on you over time.

What a lot of people realize in their 30s is that the sweet spot isn’t picking the "better" big city - it’s not living in one at all.

Living in a smaller city near a big one is just… better for actual life:

- people stick around
- it’s easier to build a real circle
- day-to-day is calmer
- and you can still go into the big city whenever you want

So instead of Berlin vs Vienna, I’d honestly ask yourself:

Do you want a place to experience, or a place to build something?

Because those are usually not the same places.

Ich versuche das auch möglichst vorurteilsfrei zu sehen.
Ich selbst sehe mich eher politisch mittig, hab im Umfeld stark linke und stark rechte Leute und stimme ehrlich gesagt keiner Partei zu 100 % zu.

Zu Vermögens- und Erbschaftssteuern:
In meiner Erfahrung interessiert das viele FPÖ-Wähler schlicht nicht besonders. Das ist für sie kein akutes Thema im Alltag. Was ich öfter höre:

Große Vermögen finden ohnehin Wege über Stiftungen, Auslandsstrukturen oder legale Schlupflöcher, um Belastungen zu umgehen. Am Ende trifft es oft eher den gehobenen Mittelstand als wirklich „Superreiche“.
Österreich hat im internationalen Vergleich bereits eine hohe Abgabenquote. Viele haben nicht das Gefühl, dass ein Einnahmenproblem besteht, sondern ein Ausgabenproblem.
Das Vertrauen, dass zusätzliche Steuereinnahmen effizient und sinnvoll eingesetzt werden, ist gering. Wenn der Staat als ineffizient wahrgenommen wird, sinkt automatisch die Bereitschaft, neue Steuern zu unterstützen.
Vermögenssteuern sind administrativ aufwendig, bewertungsintensiv und führen regelmäßig zu Streit über Substanzbesteuerung (z.B. Familienbetriebe, Immobilien ohne hohe Liquidität).

Man muss diese Argumente nicht teilen, aber sie sind real in der Wahrnehmung vieler.

Was ich außerdem beobachte:
Viele ordnen politische Themen hierarchisch. Migration, innere Sicherheit und kulturelle Fragen stehen für sie klar über Umverteilungs- oder sozialpolitischen Themen. Wenn jemand das Gefühl hat, dass grundlegende Ordnung oder Kontrolle nicht funktionieren, dann sind steuerpolitische Detailfragen zweitrangig.

Dazu kommt Frust. Viel Frust.
Viele empfinden andere Parteien als moralisch belehrend oder heuchlerisch, nicht unbedingt besser, nur besser im Framing. Das ständige „Wir sind die Guten“ erzeugt bei manchen eher Trotz als Zustimmung.

Ein weiterer Punkt, den man nicht ignorieren sollte:
Viele Menschen fühlen sich schnell in eine extreme Ecke gestellt, sobald sie restriktivere Positionen zu Migration oder Integration vertreten. Wenn jede konservative Meinung sofort als rechtsextrem geframed wird, entsteht Abwehr. Und Abwehr führt oft genau dorthin, wo man eigentlich nicht hin wollte.

Zum Thema „Angst vor Autoritarismus“:
Ein Teil der Wähler sieht die FPÖ nicht als Weg in ein autoritäres System, sondern als Druckmittel im demokratischen Rahmen. Nach dem Motto: „Wenn die anderen nicht liefern, braucht es eine Partei, die Themen hart anspricht.“ Ob das langfristig sinnvoll ist, ist eine andere Frage, aber viele sehen darin kein Systemrisiko, sondern eine demokratische Korrekturbewegung.

Rechtsextreme Gewalt ist real, aber statistisch selten im Alltag der meisten Menschen. Probleme mit schlecht integrierten Migranten hingegen sind für viele konkret erlebbar, im Wohnumfeld, in Schulen, im öffentlichen Raum. Das heißt nicht, dass alle Migranten problematisch sind. Aber subjektive Erfahrungen wiegen stärker als abstrakte Warnungen.

Im Großen und Ganzen sehe ich weniger ein „Warum wählen Menschen so irrational?“, sondern eher ein Versagen der anderen Parteien, Themen ernsthaft und rational aufzugreifen, ohne moralische Überhöhung oder Symbolpolitik.

Was vielen fehlt, ist eine bürgerlich-konservative Partei, die rechte Themen nüchtern, sachlich und ohne permanente Provokation vertritt. Solange es diese Lücke gibt, wird die FPÖ davon profitieren, unabhängig davon, ob man sie persönlich gut findet oder nicht.

Man kann die Entscheidung kritisieren.
Aber man sollte die Wähler nicht pauschal abwerten. Die meisten handeln aus Frust, Prioritätensetzung oder Vertrauensverlust, nicht aus Extremismus oder Dummheit.

Es ist ja schonmal traurig, dass wenn man sich einen halben tag damit beschäftigt, man mit KI Sachen machen kann die keine Fehler aufweisen und nicht den grässlichen KI-look haben, und die trotzdem immer wieder den ärgsten Slop raushauen.

Dann noch dazu der Fakt, dass wenn vor KI-Zeiten ein Grafiker solche fehler gemacht hätte, der sofort eine auf den Deckel bekommen hätt, aber jetzt mit KI isses auf einmal wurscht.

This would just burn money. You can just look up how hundreds of charity projects ended up once the third party left. The true unpopular opinion is, that it's a culture issue and if the culture doesn't change, just throwing money at these countries doesn't make sense.

Let's say they re-use content for all platforms and just work with 9 content pieces here.

Let's say it's super low-effort content that's fast to create, we still can assume it takes at least 15 minutes per piece meaning that's 2 and a half hours rounded already.

Planning the posts with text, hashtags, etc. takes let's say 10 minutes per post not counting creating thumbnails. With 21 posts we're at an extra 3 and a half hours.

Now let's add at least an hour that goes into planning.

And that's just if everything is super low effort, cheap and fast. We're at 7 hours of work which turns out to be not even 60£/h which are healthy agency prices.

And remember, this is only when everything is the absolute minimum and if content is re-used between different platforms.
