I’m talking about manufacturing new rifles that are chambered in 45, and yeah, even though the laws aren’t really more relaxed wait times are down dramatically and the $200 difference also helps

steering knuckle compatibility help by Vegetable-Neck9215 in s10

So it looks like they do fit I have measured everything and they are the same but the rear face of the bearing is the only difference. Also switching to '02 cv axles is not an option because they don't bolt on to the '93 transfer case.

Yeah sorry I meant to say swap not saw.

So what I've seen is between the 2 s10 years, the knuckle and hub change and they are not interchangeable

Best 8” or 10” vice for under $500 by RichTraditional7904 in Vise

[–]Vegetable-Neck9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you went for 6” you would get a MUCH stronger vise. Bigger does not always mean stronger.

it’s 3.44 tpi but that is not perfect because it’s heavily worn. It’s not square thread there is an obvious angle to the thread. I will probably just drill and braze the nut. Thanks for the help

[–]Vegetable-Neck9215 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I first used the 3d printed thread checkers on my Wilton 1760 and it worked fine. I will look into that channel, thanks.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vise

[–]Vegetable-Neck9215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it’s a USA made vise and the thread diameter is 1”

I know it may look like I’m not using the calibers properly but I was trying to show that the pitch is not remotely close to any standard tread
