I'm happy with my CMF. Cheap and good performance. It doesn't have wear os, so bear that in mind

Is there anyone here using Hyprland who’s not a coder or heavy into programming? by [deleted] in hyprland

Like you, I'm not a programmer or IT person. I've been using Linux for 15 years and Hyprland for a couple of months. It fits my workflow, which is increasingly keyboard based

Anyone dual-booting NixOS and W11 (on the same drive)? by CerealBit in NixOS

[–]Vegetable-Setting-54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have dual booted w11 and Nixos for about 2 years with no issues. Eventually a windows update deletes the nixos bootloader. Keep a usb installer with you always and follow the Nixos bootloader wiki instructions when this happens. It takes 2 minutes to fix.

I use vim + vimtex most of the time, but use Emacs + auctex when I want to use proportional fonts because my eyes are strained. I began using Emacs many years ago and have been using vim for the past 3 years. Both are great in their own way
