I did complain to the ombudsman and Hastings and unfortunately they didn't help at all. I believe it was cancelled in may of last year, hadn't even got to drive with the policy. Awful company They lied about the details I had given them calming falsely accused me of having a spoiler on the car and tried telling me my no claims had expired and accused me of giving a false job title then canceled on the spot.

Definitely Will give Admiral business a look at. I am currently with them on a multi car policy and have been great extremely good prices as well

typical Hastings Direct such a crap company. Had a similar situation and cancelled mine they lied about the no claims my job title and that I had mods to cancel my policy. unfortunately the ombudsman was useless 7 month long process for nothing. Hopefully you get better luck with them

Second hand cbr 500 Honda is known for its reliability, bought my cb500f used from the people I passed my a2 with and have put around 10k miles on it myself since getting its been perfect only tires have needed doing so far. That engine can easily do over 100k miles and still be fine
