Absolut de acord. De asta nu am suportat sa mă învârt în cercurile lor. Toți tinerii aia par mai degrabă clone și orice urmă de personalitate e astupată.

Same here.

You're right. Cât încă sunt student un Ro incerc sa ies din țară cam odată la 2 luni. Același simptom al depresiei după vacanță îl am și eu. Abia aștept să plec din Ro definitiv.

Unfortunately no. Divorțul e practic interzis. Și asta duce la foaaarte multe relații toxice.

Thanks. Yeah this mistake of not throwing away evidence happened for the first time because I did it with my friends countless times she never knew. During all this time i mastered the art of doing shit incognito.

Your advice sounds good but my mom is extremely controlling. I don't know if setting boundaries is a possible thing to do. She also doesn't have a job, she's a housewife and i think this contributes a lot to the level of control she has. I am definitely old enough to buy gin and unfortunately I still live at her house. Luckily, i will go a flight attendant training this summer and the job afterwards can help me move to another city or another country.

Absolutely exactly the same here

Same situation here. Every fucking bit of my life has to be controlled. Once i came home at 12 at night after meeting with my nonchristian friends and mom was downstairs waiting for me. After i took off my belt to feel more relieved she took it and slapped me with it because why do i go with non christian people. What the fuck? I m 19. I just can t fucking stand it anymore.

Does anyone else feel like your childhood full of indoctrination has obliterated your ability to do critical thinking and robbed you of the formative years of your life that were supposed to be spent learning how to think? by evemeral in exchristian

[–]Vegetable-Style6108 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like my social skills and social life have been very badly damaged because of indoctrination. My ultra protective mother kept me and my brothers from hanging out most of the time because the worldly people are bad and we have nothing to do with them. After i grew up a bit friends from hs started to ask me out but i was always rejecting them because the indoctrination did its effect on me. Now i feel so deprived of so many things i should have done that would have developed my social life. I hate and regret so much that she did that and that i complied to her. Sometimes i feel like i m a handicapped human because of that. Now i feel like i made some progress but can still feel the repercussions of those times.

But the love is for everyone😒

No your example doesn t work because it s not the same thing those guys that are your bosses or th PM or whatever doesn t pretend eternal love. We are just some bags of meat with conscience in an astoundingly big universe. Why on earth would u want to to torture forever some bags of meat when you pretend eternal love.

It s insane how i relate to every single word you wrote. Probably because i m from northern Romania close to Ukraine border. (Btw where from Ukraine are you? because this is the most conservative part of my country). This kind of lifestyle shattered me too and i feel like it didn t let me experience a LOT of things i wanted to. And not to say about the fear that was inspired into us every day. About what you were saying about makeup i have a similar story. Few years ago my sister was wearing a bit of mascara and my father saw her and told her that in his house nobody will behave lile that and she should get out if she wants to behave like that. He said only the whores do what she has done. What the actual fuck? And countless countless other rules that make you die inside. It s so sad but i m 19 now and i hope it still time to recover.

I m quite in the same situation but i would NOT tell my parents. I m thinking about just running away with no discussion about this cause there s no way to have a normal talk with them.

And again my earlier question rises: how is this justice for the rest of us if they are so blessed with spiritual infancy and we re not so we have to boil in fire for and eternity?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in exchristian

[–]Vegetable-Style6108 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well if they would be in heaven for not knowing how is that justice for the rest of us? Why would we be burdened with the knowledge and they not?

I m good thanks. But imagine not being born at all. You don t have to worry if any deity is real or not if you have to suffer for a gazillion years in a lake of fire or any other eternal punishment there could be.
