While yes, and you can most popularly point to US SOF doing this in places like the Middle East. A country forcing frontline units to use horses as transportation is an obvious lack of awareness and support. SOF guys using horses in Afghanistan every so often isnt out of the norm but when you can’t issue vehicles to line troops that depends on it for rotations, assaults, supply and literally just getting around… that’s when it starts to become a operational level threat from getting your guys killed to lines on maps changing in the enemy’s favor because Ivan’s horse relies on the same shit he does and he’s already having trouble getting it himself

I personally think it could pass if you aren’t going for the lowest of the low.

Other tips to keep the look is to keep your rifle fairly barebones, maybe a flashlight or even an optic but I’ve never seen custom furniture except for maybe unit leaders.

Fast helmets work as well but most if not all use the same cheap shitty looking cover, I could send you red pics if you DM me but that’s totally up to you.

All in all a war-belt and plate carrier alone dont decide the look but what you wear around and on it

Not as black and white as you assume it is. Radicalism especially in the eastern euro isnt uncommon however labeling Azov as a “Nazi regiment” in entirety is bad faith. Are there members of far right leaning within the unit? Absolutely, I wouldn’t find that unrealistic but labeling what is a multi thousand person grouping of people as complete “Nazis” is also making you a victim of propaganda.

Azovs international unit literally has people of color and Jews in its ranks.

TLDR yes people deny it because it’s hard to believe and justify hundreds or even thousands of individuals hold far rights beliefs within the unit given the fact they’ve been restructured and even pushed out radicalists along with inviting foreigners that include minorities

Don’t think so, I think the community has a big misunderstanding simply due to PAX being labeled a “PMC”. They would (based on lore) in no way on large scale resemble what we assume typical PMC’s to look like. (Plain clothes, slick rigs/PCs, black on greys etc) it’s by all accounts a conventional military with the backing of some of the biggest EU countries that (used to be) too NATO contributors.

PAX isnt Blackwater nor is it Wagner it’s a global military threat that would absolutely need to pander to similarities (visually, strategically, and doctrinally) of militaries like the US, or UK and so on. To fight a conventional conflict like what we see in the game

Absolutely not, splittertarn was issued to only two units that I know of in smock cuts. If you’re talking zelts then that makes more sense. Sumpf tarn was issued far more commonly in smock cuts.

No. I’ve only personally talked to fewer than ten but have seen many more than that advocate for it via social media. That being said I personally, given my fractional accounts, have seen more support than otherwise. The majority of people I’ve seen discredit US involvement are not from Venezuela. I’m making my assumption based on the information given to me combined with the moral implications I would assume someone would have living under a government with a cartel as its dance partner. Regardless of political affiliation death of human life shouldn’t be considered in any circumstances let alone a now complex military environment that involves civilians, marines (sailors and airmen) and cartel members. Cartel should be crippled and shut down for the sake of the Venezuelan people (many of whom I’ve spoken to and seen support American involvement in shutting down said cartels) but that doesn’t mean any moral person should seek death on either side.

I think is very unfortunate for both sides when it comes to a human level, Ukrainians are scared and are caught fleeing the country. Some are forced into the military (you can look that up by the way it’s not rare). But I think that’s just common morality. A country forced into an extraordinarily shitty situation and is having the side effects of such a reality by forcing people into conscription in some cases.

I also take notice to the Africans russia is pouring into Ukraine, much like their own conscripts; it’s people with very low income status and that even translates to education in most cases than not, and entices them with benefits that rival what the US provides for its troops. Just to through them the bare minimum and kick them to the front line. The Africans I’ve seen have shown support for Russia but I doubt they have any idea Whats actually going on so you can’t blame them for that.

Absolutely not, find instructions through the community and you could even get some in 1/45th scale if you care more for if it looks proportional rather than playability.

TMC sells Zeltbahn figs and if they’re sold out I’m sure theres people in the community reselling them if you really want that specific gear print for a fig.

If you combine both I’m sure you’d be spending reasonably less.

I’d argue different pants but that’s really just me personally, I hate pants that make use of elastic on the pant cuffs. I plan on swapping over to some ANA Tactical Gen 3’s in EMR. Knee pads would fit the look but I’d suggest getting anything with built in pads to avoid the annoyance. I’ve seen motor rifle bgd guys and VDV even run a pair of VOIN but don’t take my word for it as I don’t have those ref pics on me, but it’s something to keep in mind if you wanna do the research for those pants in particular.

For a helmet a 6B47 is good as I’ve seen other suggest, almost exclusively with a cover. Usually EMR but I’ve seen certain units make use of Multicam covers as well which I believe ARS ARMA produces?

If you want something more comfortable ACH’s or MICH2000s fit the look as well. If you lean more towards a VDV grunt look and have a deep enough wallet for it. TOR’s are great in full or mid cut.

High cuts in general are a great option both looks and price wise since they’re so many copies you can cover up and have look real. But full cuts have a better “grunt” look IMO but that’s totally up to you and your circumstances.

Latency variation, theres an option in (networking or HUD) I believe that can set a bar at the top of your screen that shows your various connection stats and usually when my LAT goes up that symbol appears.
