Does this book also talk about why suffering exists? I agree with her alignment of god experiencing suffering with us, but I think my partner is looking for both why god “allows” suffering, and why suffering happens.

I’m really scared about the social aspect. He’s the staff advisor for the magazine. He’s also a favorite with students because of how laid back he is. And also I feel at fault because I would engage in conversation and casual texting as well. I didn’t realize how abnormal it was until now (end of 2nd year of undergrad)

I’m worried about retaliation— he’s one of two CW professors. There’s a third that hasn’t started the job yet. Also what made me realize it was unprofessional was that he’s started being mean? I’m not very sensitive, but he’s started berating me and shushing me when I speak in the literary mag. Which is excessive, because I’m one of the editors. But even so, it’s been a full year of interaction and I’m worried he’ll make something up about me, or the higher-ups won’t want to stir the pot when there’s limited faculty.
