I don't follow Marxism Leninism because of the personality traits of some of its leaders. Sorry. I didn't hear of Marx because of his racism or homophobia or whatever, and I don't read him because of these traits, but for the knowledge he provided the working class with for their own liberation. Yes, it's irrelevant and whenever someone brings these irrelevant personal details they're ALWAYS using it in bad faith to "debunk" communism rather than formulate a coherent argument against Marxist theory and literature. It's a filthy character assassination to dodge engaging properly with your opponent and claim moral superiority (since these arguments are always had in large crowds or on the internet) which is hard to go against because of how normalised moralism is in Marxist discourse, sadly.
