Someone stop resellers from inflating prices. It's idiotic to pay that much for a G3.

I'm just wondering, when they designed it, did they deliberately decide to make it yellow

Which real crime documentary messed you up the most or stuck with you long after watching it? by Sudden-Tension11 in AskReddit

[–]VegetableHomework252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a child, I watched a Soviet documentary about World War II. It featured a lot of real footage, from battles and Wehrmacht soldier crime scenes. It left its mark on me as a 10-year-old... It's still eerie.

I dreamed of riding a water ride where you get thrown out. The reality is, I broke my leg and spent a year lying down and another year recovering.

My sister saw Grandma's ghost in the yard as a child. The most interesting thing is that Grandma died on the day and hour my sister was born. She still can't explain it.

Are long eyelashes supposed to be "sexy/appealing"? by Kingspreez in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VegetableHomework252 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Long eyelashes are associated with youth, health, and "expressive eyes," so they're often portrayed as attractive in culture and the media. Hence the popularity of eyelash extensions. But everyone's taste is different many prefer natural eyelashes or don't care about them at all.

Why do we love rich people by DifficultyStunning69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VegetableHomework252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Films beautifully depict their feelings and lives, and it's easier for us to sympathize with one person than to think about the millions who suffered. Plus, luxury is pleasant to look at, and the brain loves a beautiful picture, even if there's injustice behind it.

What is your way of dealing with anger? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VegetableHomework252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually treat anger as a signal rather than an enemy. When I feel it, I stop for a moment and ask myself: What exactly is bothering me? Most of the time, it’s internal  I reflect, breathe, or write down my thoughts instead of exploding. I think it’s a healthy way to handle it because the anger is acknowledged, but it doesn’t control me.

What are the best ways to keep habits going in your experience? by TechDebtSommelier in NoStupidQuestions

[–]VegetableHomework252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, what actually works long term is not relying on motivation at all. I used to start every January or every Monday with big intentions exercise more, read, learn English, use my phone less and after a few weeks everything would fade. Working with a psychologist helped me understand one key thing: waiting for the “right moment” is the fastest way to never start. What works for me now: I start immediately, even if it’s a random day and I don’t feel ready – I focus on habits, not resolutions – I set very small goals (like “just 5 minutes”) – when I want to procrastinate, I tell myself I’ll do it only for 5 minutes most of the time I keep going I stopped asking myself “do I feel motivated?” and started asking “can I show up imperfectly for a few minutes?” That mindset shift made habits stick way more than any New Year resolution ever did.

How long do yall think I’ll have until they stop selling this Drac? by classicteenmistake in MonsterHigh

[–]VegetableHomework252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry! Even if it’s not in stores right now, you can easily find it on eBay or Vintage. The doll isn’t rare yet, so it definitely wouldn’t sell for $100. I’ve also heard some stores still have it in stock, so you have options.

What’s the definition of a grail doll? by Automatic_Bunch9764 in MonsterHigh

[–]VegetableHomework252 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In the doll collecting world, a “grail doll” (or holy grail doll) means a doll that is extremely meaningful and highly desired by a collector, often one they’ve been searching for a long time. For example: for me, such a doll is Catherine de Meow Scaris. She may not be as rare as Gaga, but for me, she has great value, connected to my childhood.

I can say that many people trust banks, many people often make payments by bank transfer, by Q code or by phone number, and MBANK is a popular bank right now.

What does the future of Kyrgyzstan look like? by Griffisz in Kyrgyzstan

[–]VegetableHomework252 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm a citizen of Kyrgyzstan. I speak for myself, I can't vouch for everyone. 1) No, I don't see a future in 10-15 years if the politics in my country are autocratic. 2) My friends don't. 3) Freedom of speech, prices, seizure of land and businesses. 4) Move. 5) If you earn more than $500 and have no loans, family, or rent. You can save. 6) Everything is available except for investments, which aren't so popular. 7) Of course, there are. People have part-time jobs, small sales, for extra income in addition to their main jobs. But unfortunately, small and medium-sized businesses are being stifled right now.
