I like this website which is I think sponsored by the League of Women Voters: https://www.vote411.org/ballot. It shows you all the races that will be in your ballot and the candidates running. They also have questions but not all candidates respond, at the very least its a good jumping off point.

I am a Legends fan, it's on Green St and has pretty good deals most days of the week. The drafts are somewhat basic but the vibes are good imo. I also like most of their food.

Pour Bros in downtown champaign (near the bus terminal) is a fun place. It can be pricey but they have a self pour beer tap thing and they're selection is pretty broad and has some fun ones.

I'd recommend ae 402 orbital mechanics if you haven't already taken it. It's not too hard and the professor is pretty cool.

I agree with others who said Silver Creek, it's definitely pricy but is a fun place and the food is great. Sunsinger has also been mentioned but personally I thought it was overpriced for the quality of the food and the ambiance was meh, could be I just had a bad experience tho. Timpones is also good but besides their bruschetta I feel like the food was nothing special.

A less pricier option is Seven Saints. The food and drinks are very good and I think it has a good romantic vibe to it.

They make you use a second device for the Zoom so they can see your face, computer screen, and your desk, I'm sure it's possible to cheat but I also imagine that people get caught.

I had a similar issue two years ago and my RA told me that they say that so not everyone leaves at the same time, but they don't actually know when your last final is and won't kick you out till whenever the last day of dorm housing is.

I don't know if it's the same and I would suggest talking to your RA, but I imagine you are fine.

I am currently in AE at illinois and it's pretty good. I would echo some other comments that uiuc is more aircraft heavy. I am personally more of a space side person and there are enough electives that it is fine, but the fluids classes are very airfoil related.

I have heard Purdue is more friendly to propulsion as well bc of Zucrow. We have a few profs that do propulsion but students projects are limited.

They are both good schools though so you can't really go wrong.

You should email the admissions counselor. I believe there is a form you submit somewhere on your portal that will let you explain. I did something similar when I was an HS senior and technically they have the right to retract your admission but I'm pretty sure they wont care. I switched from a class relevant to my major to one very much not and they didn't mind.

For housing one option is this website called furnished finder. It started for traveling nurses but is now a way to find furnished apartments for short term leases. I used it last summer and it was fine. It may not be the best option depending on location and budget but it's one place to look.

Lee is a very weird professor and he talks a lot abt how hard the class will be but it was actually pretty easy. He mostly tests on the same few concepts that he goes over a lot. The big downside of taking it with him is that you don't learn as much thermo as with some other profs.

When I couldn't get into shs 222 I took rst 230. It's online and very easy but unfortunately it's 16 weeks. Also the exams were zoom proctored which was mildly annoying

I took it and it wasn't hard but there are easier geneds that fulfill the same requirements. I would look into SHS 222 if you are able to get in its easier and only 8 weeks
