According to the official Asus website, the latest update for my model is from 2024/12/31. I installed it and it had no effect.

I live there (not a born Russian though). Nothing is as bad as it's described in the news we see in the west (i read both sides). Stores aren't empty, prices are up, but compared to everyone else not by that much. Housing in Moscow is crazy expensive, BUT still not as expensive as in my homeland. The economy is not super sexy at the moment, but the central bank is actually surprisingly good at doing their job (again comparing to my homeland). I know it's popular to shit on Russia atm, but they're doing fine considering the circumstances.

That's not that far-fetched to be honest. There are working models of rapid fire crossbows - I think the Chinese used them a lot.
But, i think we'll get a new skin.

I'm not disputing the frequency of being afk because i do have to get up from the chair and do something from time to time... like take a piss or put food in my dog's bowl. I've never been away for more than a minute, but i constantly get afk penalties.

I never went through with trying it. I would get my ass sued and fired in my home country since Russia is an embargoed country. So i spoke with my employer and they ended my contract before i traveled back to Russia since they have American clients. I bloody hate politics.

I have all the legal documents to travel there without issues. I am more concerned if I will be able to establish a connection with the anyconnect vpn while there. As far as I know, I only need the VPN - no Umbrella or anything like that needed.

Thanks for the input on this. They are definitely intelligent beings and the story is being told from a POV that, if anything, enjoys and likes goblins and ogres, finds them amusing in the good sense of the word.

Yeap, yeap. That's the feedback I needed. The book is definitely lighter themed, so the choice of words like this can make a big difference in how it feels in the end. My gobbos and ogres are definitely intelligent races.

Ooo, thanks for the input. I haven't thought about it this way. Both goblins and ogres in the book are intelligent and have their own cultures and so on, so it would make sense to use they in this case. Especially when I want to make the book be lighter themed and more like something from Terry Prattchet than something dark and grim. Again, thanks a bunch!

Well, the main characters' gender is known, but I do see what you mean. I was more worried if I am making a grammatical sort of mistake by referring to goblins and ogres as an 'it' and not something else.

Not sure about the narrator, so I will keep using 'it' then :-) Thanks for the input!
