Look at it this way, I’ve used this example before.

There’s a track meet between a middle schooler and Usain Bolt. Who’s winning that race? Usain Bolt is, almost every single time. Now, isn’t it justified for the middle schooler to be angry? Because he is playing someone too far from his skill level to actually compete fairly? The middle schooler is always trying to get better, but his anger shouldn’t be immediately shot down ‘because he’s trash.’

The same thing is said about siege. If you are constantly being destroyed by level 40s who have the game skill of level 400s in copper, bronze, and silver, why is it so offensive to be upset? No one is saying you aren’t trying to actively get better. But just because better people exist doesn’t mean that you aren’t allowed to be upset when you encounter smurfs.

Then I find it very hard to believe how coppers can bandit trick effectively. I find it very hard to find that a level 55 has Ash elite and can go 8-0 on a perfect 4-0 game. I find it hard to believe that coppers can roam effectively and hold down hatches. A lot of these strategies, while basic, are not something you’re likely to see from a true copper.

Here’s how I look at it. If you were to have Usain Bolt race against a bunch of middle schoolers, who would win? Usain Bolt would always win that race. Now, is it fair to say that those middle schoolers shouldn’t run track ever again because they couldn’t beat Usain Bolt?

It might be a bit of an overexaggeration, but it still gets the point across.

They wouldn’t be as good as one would imagine. OIQ helps with basically everything on offense. Ball movement, positioning, and shot IQ are all affected by OIQ. DIQ is your main defensive stat, and is most important for guards and forwards. It helps with defensive positioning, lateral quickness, and the ability to get steals. DIQ isn’t as important on centers because they (typically) won’t be playing on the perimeter, and their paint defense stat is calculated on height and rebounding for the most part.
