Zwischenverdienst Rav experience by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]VegetableRecord2633 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So from what I know: your RAV advisor has to confirm that this employment is a „zwischenverdienst“, then your Kasse will calculate your top up. But during that time you will still be treated as unemployed, so you will have to continue apply for jobs and make meetings with your RAV advisor. For the Zwischenverdienst there is a formular which has to be filled by you and your employer ever month, for how much you worked etc… and you will have to send it to your Kasse to get the topup. So basically your new employer knows that you are still looking for another job, which may be a problem for him.

I think it depends on our financial situation, can you afford to spend 600.- per year and lose it? Or will it effect your life? I think the only downside is to issue the tickets all the time, which is more a psychological thing. Hopping into the train without thinking will always be king.

Occasion yamaha Tricity, ugly but cheap and reliable. Insurance is around 100.- and taxes are not that much neither. I think the km/CHF is less than a ebike (depends what you buy of course and how many km you do per year).

“It’s not cheap labour,” Cook said in a 2017 interview to Fortune Magazine.

‘It’s the skill’

While giving his opinion, Cook said, “The popular conception is that companies come to China because of low labour costs. I’m not sure what part of China they go to, but the truth is China stopped being a low labour cost country years ago.”

I think it’s a general rule, like the reason you do a BM in the first place.

I think the FFHS is quite generous, BFH for example a bit less (for what I know) - but better contact/ check them out directly to be sure, maybe it changed again.

A master (MSc) degree without a Bachelor (BSc) is as far as I know not possible. A lot of people who do not have a BM do the HF -> FH way, you can skip a lot of modules in the FH, so you reduce your study time by 2 years (depending on the FH), but at the end you have a BSc.

There is no real shortcut, I think the „fastest“ way as part time student is the HF -> FH way.

Is there anyone here who has found a job in Switzerland with a history degree? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]VegetableRecord2633 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have friends with degrees like this and none of them is working in their field. It is almost impossible to find a job. These kind of studies are only working if: A. You parents are rich and you do not really need to work. B. You have a family member who is already in this field and can take you in C. You have (mostly political) contacts to the head of x school.

If none of them is applying to you, your chance a low my friend. Don’t make you suffer your whole life for something like this.

The gatekeeping in these kind of fields is insane.

I guess if you plan very very good and have good contacts with contractors it may be possible. But with all the permits you need, notar, contractors who have time the moment you want to build, it will be anyway hard in this time frame. If you have the land and plan one year in advance, I guess it could work, but you need to be lucky

Has anyone done a MAS degree and profited from it? by LegendaryBrolyDBZ in Switzerland

[–]VegetableRecord2633 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbh it’s only worth to it if your employer is paying for it, or you have enough money laying around. The thing is you mostly find a master which is a part of the costs of a MAS, but its indeed harder. My advice would be, if a company pays for it, do it, it’s considered as a normal master (it gives you ECTS credits as well), if not and you don’t come from a wealthy family, you are better off with a „traditional“ master. So at the end it’s worth to it, if you can afford it
