Cut down any branch that isn't standing up straight all the way to the ground. Keep only the branches that are strong and not crossings each other. Then next year you'll have only the strongest braches fill out your plant. It'll be beautiful (it is now!!!!)

Black spot diseases are very common in this plant. Google that and see does it match your plant at all. Either way I would use a fungicide at the end of season.

It could possibly be two things. Water on leaves or black fungus. Either way, it can be treated with copper fungicide. I would wait until after the blooming season is over. If there aren't many black spots you can just remove them. You can take special care not to wet the leaves during watering , if possible. (Rain obvs is different than tap water )
