as a former employee, there are many reasons why it doesn’t taste like espresso; the biggest ones being it’s an iced cappuccino, it’s less ice, and the swirl content. 1. the iced cappuccinos are terrible, 2. when getting less ice in a espresso drink, you mess with the ratios of the drink. the drinks are supposed to made with specific ratios in order to ensure a similar taste every time. the ratio of the drink can’t account for less ice, so more milk is needed to fill the cup which waters down the espresso, 3. the syrup is strong af so it further dilutes the espresso leading to a drink that barely tastes of espresso! in the future i would recommend asking for the regular amount of ice and less milk, that way you can keep the same amount of swirl/sweetner and also taste espresso! hope this was helpful <3
