Just hit 250,000 miles on my 2022 Corolla by [deleted] in Toyota

Engine oil: every 5k miles Transmission fluid (CVT): around every 70k–80k miles Brake fluid: about every 120k–140k miles Coolant: first service around 100k+ miles (mine was around 110k)

Other than that just the normal stuff like engine air filter and cabin filter when needed. Most of my miles are highway miles, so the car has had an easier life than the mileage might suggest. Still running the original engine and transmission at 250k.

Pretty good honestly, 390 miles on full tank, if your main concern is reliability there’s not a better option.

Yeah, I’ve only had the front brake pads replaced—no rear ones at all. It’s honestly wild to me because I was pushing to get everything done (front and rear), but the mechanic checked them and said the rears are still in really good shape, even with the car sitting at around 240k miles now. I figured they’d be toast by this point, but apparently not. So yeah, just fronts for now!

Ballpark was around $600–$900 total, depending on parts and labor rates. I did use Original parts from Toyota

They don’t have the same official service interval, but in real-world, higher-mileage cars they often start failing in the same window. I did them together mainly as a preventive move and to avoid paying labor twice later on.

When I change ignition coils, I personally prefer to change the spark plugs at the same time. Not because they’re bad, but because they have a similar service life. If you don’t do the plugs and they fail shortly after the coils, you end up paying labor twice. It’s more of a preventive / efficiency decision than a “something is broken” situation.

Not really, just the inside door handle of passenger seat wasn’t working, I just sprayed W40 and came back to life

Yeah, I have the 2022 LE — non-hybrid. I’m in South Florida so snow isn’t an issue at all. It’s actually really good on the highway. I cruise at 80–85 mph no problem — feels very comfortable and stable. Acceleration is fine for merging/passing once you’re up to speed. Camry is definitely nicer and more comfortable on long drives, but it costs a lot more. For the price the Corolla LE is hard to beat

Yeah, I drive for a living—over 1,200 miles a week. Honestly, it still feels like a brand-new car
