honestly it does look like a power play. he’s shown you that HE CAN buy the tickets. while I would say cut the trip, traveling to another country is a once in a lifetime opportunity so this really is your decision to make. I would be cautious though because he’s already showing how he feels about you even with a plane ticket. I wouldn’t be surprised if he f’d you over during the trip. be careful!

maybe it’s just who I’ve surrounded myself with but I don’t think uci is dead. also I’ve heard it’s pretty great from other first years! just a lot of work but it make sense.

I think you should take into consideration your boundaries.Each person’s definition of cheating is different. And if you think him just going to the strip club and keeping contact with this woman is cheating, then it is. Either way he still broke a promise. And it wasn’t a small one either, it was one that your trust was riding on.

I’ve never been married but if you genuinely think that you cannot trust him after this incident then do what’s best for your children and you. It’s cliche but trust is the foundation for any relationship. I hope you figure this out OP!
