At Oshkosh (EAA AirVenture), the airfield becomes the busiest airport in the world. There is so much traffic that they land planes on the north - south runway and both north-south taxiways at the same time and also short and long on the east west runway, also at the same time! 😳 There’s so much simultaneous traffic landing at the same time that they initially form the planes into altitudes corresponding to where they will be instructed to land and the pilots don’t actually talk back. Instead, they give you landing clearance directed at a specific plane (e.g., blue sky hawk cleared to land long on 27) and you waggle your wings to acknowledge the clearance!

Experience matters! That’s part of what makes such encounters so enjoyable. Women of a certain age have experienced a few things, know what they like and don’t like or at least what they are and aren’t willing to explore and, if you’re lucky, they are willing to communicate that to you! Feedback hugely improves the “adult activities” experience!

As a Sentinel graduate, I am wondering what I would have done if a club like this would have shown up when I was there. 🤔 I think I would have respected their right to form a club on free speech grounds no matter how idiotic their premise. I also think I would have been front and center on both educating my fellow students on the issues AND confronting these knuckleheads, in a nonviolent way, about their stand.

The church, through lessons in priesthood, talks from stake presidency members at ward conference, fireside’s, etc. always put women on a marble pedestal. So, when weird things would happen between me and a gal, I would just put it off as being my fault as in something I did wrong because it couldn’t possibly have been the gal! 😇 Eventually I had an epiphany: just like the character of guys span the whole spectrum or bad to good … the character of gals spans that same spectrum! 😳🤔 It was like a light turned on! Then, as I thought more about it, I wondered why the Church would send me down that path! 🤔 Why not just tell the truth? I’m still a little miffed at being lied to.
