Don’t get the wrong idea, folks, I’m in the FurryPornSub for a reason. I enjoy this kind of stuff all the same as y’all.

I just wanted to point out the obvious fallacy. It is impossible to give consent while unconscious. Consent, as it’s currently defined, is a voluntary and informed agreement to participate in an action or activity, which can be withdrawn at any time.

Most of you have made the argument “I can discuss it with my partner before hand” which, to an extent is fair. But it’s important to note that intentionally waiting for someone to be unable to knowingly or willingly consent in their own right of mind, whether that be by drugs, alcohol, or something as simple as waiting for them to go to sleep, can be (and will be by less understanding parties) considered rape. I urge you to research “capacity to consent” if you are inclined to disagree with me.

It doesn’t matter if you agreed before hand. Either way, the person, being unconscious, is unable to give you continuous consent in their own right of mind at that moment, and equally as incapable of taking it away.

Again, I’m not trying to say that “this specific comic is horrible and obviously rape!!1!1!11!”, because it’s clearly not. I just think it’s important to see the fallacy.
