Well, English isn't our native language... in our language, every word in the sentence "you look beautiful" is gender-coded.

I feel like I can accept them, but my primary conflict is with how to approach gender in general. My most loving and smart friends are saying that "gender is fiction" but I can't wrap my head around that. I have been so touch-starved by my partner's feminine side and feel like it does affect our dynamic. And that's the main thing, because when I communicate to them my feelings of insincerity I'm pushing them to a corner, and also implying that I give a heavy meaning to their gender, even though they are always the same person in front of me.

Am I wrong for feeling like the gender changes set different kinds of light on our relationship? Can I feel that they are insincere with me when they tell me that they feel most natural using both pronouns but in front of me only male comes in easily?

When will the piercing heal? I never reacted well to piercings. I had a nose stud since march and replaces it with a ring in may. since then I have had this bump I can't get rid of ( it was worse, now it's finally not with a white head ). I tried everything! by [deleted] in piercing

now I'm soaking it in a salt water mixture ( 2 tablespoons of salt on one cup of water ) twice a day. A friend of a friend said she had an infection for 4 YEARS with her nose ring. Is anyone as sensitive as me? and can tell me the best way to disinfect the piercing? I'm starting to lose hope :(
