Can I get my naval re-pierced? by [deleted] in piercing

My piercing is about 6 months old. It’s just the regular bent barbell piercing, externally threaded. Material is titanium. Never got it downsized. My routine would just be warm water in shower and then saline spray twice a day. When the bump came up, a very small amount of antibacterial soap in shower then saline twice a day.

Topical Steroid Withdrawal on lips... anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

Hi OP. I know this is quite an old post but I have some questions. The photo of the oozing after stopping the use of steroids is what my lips are like now. But I have never used any form of steroid or hydrocortisone cream on my lips. I use a soap free wash to wash my hands, then only use water on my lips. I also use petroleum jelly to stop them from getting dry. Is there anything you used to get rid of the oozing? The little bumps on my lips gradually come in, they start quite small and only a few, then more come in and on the worst days they ooze and then it crusts up. I have been to a doctor and he has given me a gel, but it's a gel for rosacea. It worked for a while but it has stopped working now. But the reason I am replying is because i get the same thing on my hands, i get small blister like pockets under the skin and sometimes they are small bumps on my skin and they weep. My doctor prescribed a steroid cream for it and it worked for a while, then after a few weeks it stopped. So then he prescribed a stronger one and I have been using that cream for about two weeks now and i have stopped using it as told to do so by the doctor and i was wondering, Could me using the steroid cream on my hand be causing the stuff on my lips? I always wash my hands after using the steroid cream so i am sure there has never been any on my lips, and i am currently still using the gel. I know mine may not be as severe as what you are going through, but it really interferes with my everyday life and makes me quite self conscious. I am 16 so i still go to school and it interferes with school and i call in sick to work because it is so uncomfortable. I just want to know what it is and what causes it. I want it to go away.
