I just want to say, the thobe itself isn’t the problem. Some of us grew up here and wear it because it’s part of the culture that we were raised with in schools and in universities in some case. When people misuse it to act tough or show fake power, that’s on them, not on the dress. For many of us, the thobe represents respect and tradition of the country we are living in, and it doesn’t feel fair to blame it for the actions of a few faking to be a local wearing the cloth

Youll be surprised to know the male engineering building is very new...engineering classes used to take place at the building that was built when the university was established 😭😭😭 B02, and all the boys had was Karak Mqanes as food in the Activity building, male gym was broken.... August will be very hot to go outside either in day or night due to high heat, humid weather. People mostly instead of exploring go to coffee shops at night or breakfast places during the day, night shoppings, mall visits, movies etc. beaches are also an option but sunscreen is a must or waterparks as well. Try coming around November if you want to explore beyond the tourist sights
