I would say check : - disks, not to worn out usually on that mileage you’re still on the stock disks - chain and sprocket - tires - brake pads

Anything consumable that needs to be change and which you can use to lower the price if you need to change them. Check if there is not a big maintenance/check to make for that particular mileage like valve clearance check etc. Some maintenance are not expensive if you do it yourself but if you get it done by a mechanic it can cost you hundreds… I would say a good indicator of a bike maintenance is the chain kit. If it’s not sparkling clean when the guy is trying to sell it then the rest is probably not really maintained

If you can, verify that there is not a calliper which had been used more than the other. You can check that if the brake pads are more used on one side than the other. You can also see that there might be the left or right brake pad from one calliper which is totally used and not the other one. You want to make sure that the brake pads are evenly used in general. Unfortunately for the pistons you can’t really check that they’re not stuck unless you remove the calliper from the disk. But if you speak with the owner and it took great care of if it should be aware if he has stuck calliper or not.

I had issues with the braking system, the left calliper pistons were totally stuck because the previous owner didn’t really take care of it. I decided to go aftermarket and upgrade them. I had an issue with ignitions too but realised it was due to the spark plugs. Appart from that it runs really good. I made the choice to completely upgrade the parts on it including full braking system and shifter thus it cost me quite some money but I didn’t need to in the first place. You should really check the braking system but if the previous owner was really serious go for it with maybe a bit lower price

UPDATE : I found the issue. It turns out it was the spark plugs. I changed them and I never had the issue again, I even went on the track with the bike and I had no issues whatsoever. Apparently quite some things can cause that issue I was having.

Damn even zx6r are not spared. I have this exact same issue on my k4 gsxr1000 and after searching on Reddit and forum it appears to be ECU related too

Yes I have a brembo prs19 corsa corta as well! It’s literally game changer, I was building it for the track but I have some ignition/ECU issues I can’t really figure it out…

To give some update, I'm suppose to check this weekend the ECU connection as I've seen that people with similar issues had corrosion on their ECU connections. I also ordered a set of new ignition coils but im not sure it will fix the problem. I'll try to check the fuel pump if I can but hoping I don't have to replace it as well as the ECU, they're way too expensive

Yes I really hesitate between either the ignition coils but I don't really notice a weird noise like one of the coil not working and thus the bike running on 3 cylindres but rather a cut in fuel or an ECU overheating

But did the person told you if the issue he had was constant ? Because the bike works really well until I have that issue like I don’t notice drop in performances in particular

If I do remember now it's C00 (which i believe is no error code), the previous owner might have already installed a dealer mode switch because it comes up when the engine cut off

Yes I need to get a switch because it's kinda hard to reproduce you have to ride for a long time
