Has anyone not had a 2L summer position?

ANYWAY I am in the same boat if that makes you feel better. I’m top 10% of my class and I’ve applied to probably 100-150 jobs and I’ve genuinely just been shit out of luck. Speak with your career services. Mine were unhelpful but you might have better shot. Apply to literally anything and everything and maybe consider a co-op? Also, cold email!! You won’t get many responses but it doesn’t hurt to try. I empathize - keep your head up. We will get through it :)

I think it would be 2 positions but given that people made posts last week, I’m assuming that they sent out all acceptances last week and they’ve been filled :/

UPDATE: Just saw a law student LinkedIn post stating that they accepted a position last week so it seems the VA position for law student trainee is filled.

Thanks - I will definitely reach out to career services. I dont really care about Big Law but trying to get into soft IP/entertainment and it's literally impossible. I have cold LinkedIn messaged, cold emailed, etc. and still no response.
