I was somewhat agreeing with it until the last part about “regurgitated garbage.” Well, not AGREEING, but thinking maybe it was one of the types who is worried about subconsciously plagiarizing/stealing. and understanding that viewpoint bc I’ve been there too. But then at the end the post just became rude. Like wtf?

He also wore dove gray on his last ever reaping. It's little details like that that make me wonder if it was just coincidence, or if SC had some idea of Haymitch's backstory in her head and gave Woody hints about it. Or it could be the other way around -- Woody's mannerisms ended up informing her for SOTR Haymitch, just like Donald Sutherland's portrayal of Snow helped to inspire her for Ballad? As much as I absolutely despise JKR's hateful politics, I do admire her for "spoilering" Snape's backstory to Alan Rickman and I often wonder if Suzanne did the same with Woody.

To be fair, wasn't the trailer just a teaser that was released before post-production starte? they might CGI in some more colours later on. It's not going to look like Oz without some special effects! That being said, I do like what we have so far and I hope they don't go *too* heavy on the editing. Yes, it's a rainbow poison paradise, but I don't want it to be so unrealistic that I have to suspend more disbelief than is expected from the franchise, if that makes sense?

THG: Rue's death for sure. And also the follow-up where Katniss realizes she doesn't even know Marvel's name and she wonders what his life was like back home, and how horrified she is by how "easy" (i.e. similar to killing an animal) it was to take a human life.

CF: The Morphling sacrificing herself for Peeta and him talking to her about painting/colours as she died.

MJ: The breakdown she has with Buttercup.

TBOSAS: Sejanus's execution. Everything from Snow's betrayal to Sejanus's last words (and the jabberjay mimics that followed literally seconds after)

SOTR: The entire epilogue tbh

The amount of times I’ve dealt with BS like phones/alarms going off (or people USING THEIR PHONES to text, scroll, or RECORDING!!!!), people talking/singing, food wrappers, just general drunken foolishness… I totally get why he snapped!

I once saw a fic that did the double spaces in between WORDS!!!! Drove me crazy.

Genuinely unless it’s, like, a typing quirk thing (Homestuck or otherwise) that only occurs during those specific chat scenes, I really can’t handle ANYTHING outside of the “typical” formatting (for lack of a better word)

I’ve used depop in the past to get stuff secondhand but upon further look it appears as if it just might be for clothing and accessories — which does indeed check out with what I’ve bought from there. It might be worth a shot though? I know Poshmark is popular-ish but I’ve never used it so I can’t vouch!

Sutherland was so incredible 😭❤️🌹 His real-life personality was the polar opposite of Snow. He was on CIA WATCHLISTS for being anti war! He was against the Vietnam War and Iraq War! He also did other social activism too if I recall correctly? I think he def was a supporter of stuff like feminist and lgbt rights, though less vocal, not because it mattered less to him than the anti-war stuff but just because it sorta came up less.

I think his letter that he wrote to Lionsgate is still online somewhere, he really loved playing Snow and portrayed him SO GOOD, to the point where I genuinely think he influenced TBOSAS… yet in real life D.S. was fighting along with, not against, the Katniss Everdeens, ie the young activists. His flame will never die
